They appointed 'G'reg chappel and he screwed up the team. They appointed 'G'raham Ford and he choked them big time. Now they are interested in 'G'ary Kirsten.
May be If he fails then they might look for 'G'ream gooch 'G'ream Hick 'G'ary Sobers etc.
Not sure what is eating BCCI and its team with 'G' factor.
The Indian cricket team is looking more organised than before at least what we were 2 years back.People mighty think otherwise. But any body can fill it. Now Players are not taking granted their position or performance. Finally Austrians have remarked that this Indian team is different even though indian team was defeated in last series. Pointing has already started war of words against Kumble. Pakistanis have expressed that this indian team is better than their team. How all these possible. is it because of competion? I think people may deny with me, but this culture has been developed during this 2-3 years only. Early exist in the WC is not good thing. But we really came back. Started defeating South Africa, Australia and now Pakistan. This team will be confidence before touring to Australia. No mater what is the result but the approach is simple, players have already expressed that they are going to play good cricket. Finally i would ask every body a simple question? who is the man behind this indian sucess?? It is always very easy to critise, but think it otherwise in rationly. Guru Greg is not a popular man.but he broke all to ensure no body is greater than cricket and indian want good cricket after all. let's wait what he can deliver in his second innings.
GABBAR SINGH.. "khamosh.......................... Stop all these nonsense. Guru Greg jaisa koi nahi......... Kick Ganguly out first. This is the high time we should bring back Guru Greg and Kiran More into action"

Dravid is mediocre as a captain. He is a great player of test cricket. Chappel is a rascal who destroyed Indian team and BCCI was responsible for the dirty politics played by Chappel. BCCI is a filthy lobby of oppurtunits, who selcted grand pa Kumble ( 37 ) ahead of Dhoni who won us ODI series against Pak after 24 yearsand 20-20 WC. Shame on BCCI... a bunch of dirty politicians
The absence of Chappel or any so called Coach has allowed the Indian players to settle in to a rythm. Dravid also did a great service to the nation by resigning. Chappel in particular has no relevance in the Indian context.

We need a coach but he should be nationalist and should not have a narrow mind-set. If we can get such a guy, India will become world beater. Vengasarkar can be a suitable person. He said he will select a winning combination and he indeed did that, ignoring the howls of regionalistis blokes. After a graceful retirement (perhaps after Australia tour) may be Saurav Ganguly can be a suitable person. The coach does not really need to coach. He has to stand out as a binding force. It is necessary to have such a person as the captain being a party to the performance of the team can not always provide leadrship, especially if he is not doing well for a while.

Dear Suman, Ganguly could make re-entry only because Chappel could not regulate the speed of destruction of team India properly. His objective was to destroy the team by the time the World Cup ensued but he went a bit too fast. Team India lost the Malaysia tri series, the Champion's trophy and was defeated by huge margins in South Africa. But for this, Ganguly would have been a forgotten story. Chappel too must have learnt his lessons. In his next assignment he will do better. As to the real objective of that guy called Chappel you may read my message else where. I am sure you too love India and take pride in an Indian victory. However, naive people like you have been taken in by his propaganda.

Chappel did not play in the Malaysian triseries, the Champion's trophy and the South Africa ODI series either. Nor was your hated Ganguly present in any of these. In fact in all these matches Chappel got exactly what he demanded: the Rainas, the Kaifs and so on. The outcome of his guidance was historic humiliation of Indian team. Don't you think Chappel was responsible for the debacle? If BCCI followed his advice verbatim, both the credit (had t been there) and discredit are naturally his. I do not doubt Chappel's capability but his India tenure had a malevolent mission. As I have explained elsewhere with good reasoning, he was a trojan horse. If u hv any counter arguments against the arguments given by me, please come forward because I think there shd be a national debate on this. If u do not come forward with any argument/counter arguments then u wd look like Chappe's paid mouth piece.

talent wise, man-for-man, person-for person, team india was better than most of the teams in WC. they didn't play well as a team, they didn't function well as a single unit. and as a head coach(GURU GREG!!!), u sucked coz u could not make team india as a single unit. u r so arrogant and stupid..how dare u disrespect our senior players (heart of the team) and telling us how bad they r. Mr. chappel plz learn the basic coaching from NFL coaching stuff who have guts to take all responsibility of loosing team. u r simply a moron..
