Sourav ganguly stated that this team is the more consistent than the previous indian teams so he is correct Rediff has a tendency to make a hype of anything sourav states bcoz it will be a great debate then on rediff forums and many will abuse sourav without sense and REdiff moderators will enjoy and block messages Rediff always misleads statements from Sorav ganguly Even if dhoni bcoms the greatest captain of india in future for me sourav will be the best bcoz after all he took the mantle of buliding a strong Indian team which Sachin,Azhar could not do He was also the most Non parochial captain and supported correct talent

definitely in saurav ganguly captainsfip indians started n eager for win look in his captainship squad. 1. sachin 2. saurav both r equal in skills 3 dravid rescues many times 4 sehwag blaster 5 yuvraj slooger 6 laxman good yar 7 kaif avg. bats man so i think dravid played a vital role as wicketkeeper for india saurav as a captain n sachin as hero fotr alltime

We Indians have the bad way to bow down to anything. We have never done eyeball to eyeball game which the Aussies play. Zaheer has learnt the eyeball to eyeball game from Ganguly. This aggression is to win and to beat the opposition, mind you! He is nto showing his aggression on his team mates! So why ask question when Ganguly was aggressive to beat the oppostion?? Any harm??

If backing a potential player like Yuvraj,Sehwag,Zaheer,Balaji,Nehra,Harbhajan is politics, then i am happy he played good politics for the best of team India. Rahul Dravid played bad politics with Greg Chappel to get Ganguly out of the team. But what help did it do to him?? He was not able to handle the pressure. The ungrateful Dravid!

Dravid played politics and ganguly played angel in zimbabwe by informing laxman that look greg doesnt want u in the side but i hv told him u will be there, and after laxman scores 100 he storms to gregs room n fights with him why doesnt he want him in the test side, Greg gets a shocker and asks who told him this, and finally greg calls up ganguly and takes laxman to his room and then asks him in front of laxman when did he say he didnt want laxman in the test side and Ganguly becomes dumb and says dis n dat and takes story back to Sri lankan tour where chappel had said in team meeting that he didnt want laxman to play one dayers.
This was the innocent Ganguly, all this was reported to BCCI but a guy from bengal called Dal-mey-kalimiya cleanly pulled ganguly out, saying there was misunderstanding, LOL.

Every individual is unique and every individual should be respected. Go by the records to justify your comments! All individuals are different and every person has a different nature but that should be respected! No one can be compared to any other person, as we all are unique and different from each other!

think u r confused frnd !!!!!!!!!!!!
Yes, it is the best team but with a weak link that is Sachin. He fails in many matches repeatedly and then score one half century or a century and the whole cricketing world forget his failures and showers undue praises on him. Even in the last match, the short ground and the batting friendly pitch helped him a lot and moreover, Yuvaraj's knock was the base for a huge total but still all credits go to Sachin!
Though Rohit Sharma could not perform well in a couple of matches, he should be given more chances so that he will become more experienced in the international cricket before the world cup. Or Robin Uthappa should be brought back from exile. Sports is not for one man show but to keep the youth physically fit and therefore, all the players should be given chances to excel.
All are talking about Rohit's poor performance. I still remember Rahul repeatedly getting out cheaply at the beginning of his career but grew up gradually to become one of the best test batsmen. Though there is stiff competition these days, give some time to new comers to get adapted to the higher level of the game and tours like these are the best to provide chance to them.

Sourav was the highest scorer for the year 1996,1997, 1999 and year 2007. He was the man of the match and the man of te series in his last ODI series. In his last test series he scored a century. He has the maximum number of sixes in world cup ever. go by the records. Dont chew the biased media words! Apply some mind!

go by records boss! Dont go by a year of records, check after Dhoni spends 4-5 years! He is jut 26, how can u compare him with Sourav?? Apply some mind! Sourav has 11,000 runs in ODI. Let Dhoni reach there, then please speak. All these 11,000 runs did not fall from heaven, Sourav scored them! okay
pitches have changed in every part of the world. except ENG and SA all the pitches around the world r becoming flat unlike those days.it was difficult for the earlier teams to play on green tops abroad.we shd luk at the perfromance at diff circumstances and diff scenarios.

NZ is still cool and windy place. How many teams scored 392 in NZ? India won T-20 WC in SA and test series in England. In ODI series India lost by 3-2 in England (a narrow margin).
Re: Re: indian youngsters seem to perform bcos

thts wat iam saying.the current performance depends on whole lot of factors.its nt only the cool and windy place, but also the wickets which is the most imp thing for any batsmen to perform.so its nt wonder for any one,nt only indian youngster to perform abroad thse days unlike eralier indina team youngster who found it difficult to perform on green top wickets abroad.so dnt come to a conlcusion this is the the best indian team youngsters who have performed abroad
North, Hughes, Macdonald, Siddle all are performing well against SA. But they have to prove themselves against other team specially India. Indians youngsters have done well against England, Australia, SriLanka and NZ.
North, Hughes, Siddle, Macdonald real test will be against India and in subcontinent.
