what inspired KKR to have Aakash Chopra
by Notout_Naveen on Jun 01, 2008 04:22 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

I dnt know what inspired KKR to have Aakash Chopra in the T20 team...and to open with him?

Probably Ganguly known for his supersticious belif thought that like in Austrlia 2001 test series he may turn lucky in IPL too??

Or is it inspired by dravid opening with Wasim Jaffer for RC??

Saurav Ganguly used to take all the Credit for India Winning Abroad, Simple Example He Introduced the Opening Batting Pair of Viru Sehwagt and Aakash Chopra in Australia in 2004 which was Successful, That Prompted him to Pick Aakash Chopra in Most of the Matches of KKR along with Salman Butt, But what he Forgot was that he did not have Viru Sehwag in his Team......................

That team wins which executes the plan well
by Notout_Naveen on Jun 01, 2008 04:06 PM  Permalink

Warne seems to be very strategic...he comes up with good plans to each batsmen...n gives the good fielding placements for bowlers...all the bowlers have to do is to execute his plan...

So u have make warne guessing by not repeating the old mistakes...Batsmen should be innovative to get the gaps ...I think Dhoni understands this n hope he comes up with some better planning...

The last two games in which these 2 teams played..Dhoni was bit casual..hope big stage will inspire him this time to have some proper plans...

CSK wins today, we will never know if it is due to Dhobi's luck or due to match fixing. Only God, Dhobi and Warne will know.

WILY FOX vs MR. COOL

CSK and Dhoni have very tough task today.
Shane Warne has proved to be a WILY FOX.
Our Dhoni is 'bachha' (kid) in front of him.

hello rambhau....
may be warni had played cricket for 17 years.agreed he had great carrier and was best spinner ever produced (not to mension about extra curicular activities eg.helping bookies & getting out of WC,having se* with no.of womens, giving nu*e possesetc.etc.)but iwant to ask u a simple q.WAS HE WAS THERE WITHIN 3/4 YEARS OF HIS CARRIER (in 1993/94) WHERE DHONI IS NOW? so RAMBHAU cheer up and support a player who has shown our cricket these days...

It is me who always fights for Dhoni single-handedly in these forums.

Now only I can see some more Dhoni supporter out here when CSK has reached the finals.

PURISTS SAY - 20-20 IS NOT CRICKET
THEY SAY TEST CRICKET IS REAL CRICKET.

I SAY
SHAKESPEARE/CHARLES DICKENS - THEY ARE CLASSIC
BUT
JAMES HADLEY CHASE- I WILL PREFER ANY DAY.
BOTH TYPES HAVE THEIR OWN PLACE

WHAT DO YOU SAY

T20 is a cool version of the game....it fast and has more suspense to it than any other form of the game....test cricket is long and provides enetrtainment for 3-5 days on end....and ODIs is a halfway between both....and to put it simply...cricket rox regardless of the format...
