Michael:

Best of luck to you . . . if you too like me are trying to find an iota of entertainment and SOME competitiveness in the semis and the finals..

I sincerely miss Mumbai... they wouldn't have been these absolute chickens we saw in the semis... matches being decided within 25 and 15 overs respectively... too bad I say

Why Man of the Match to Mnitni?
by Kamal on Jun 01, 2008 09:44 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Parthiv Patel deserved, in all respects, to receive man of the match as he took crucial catches and scored half-ton.

Thats because Ntini took wickets upfront that made the kings 11 progress slow and talking abt catches thats his job behind the stumps and batting he was not under pressure the asking rate was just under 5.5 but then too the man of the match award should be given to the two bowlers Ntini and Gony.

T20
by Sachin on Jun 01, 2008 09:42 AM  Permalink

T20 is all about intensity. the team which plays more intensely will be the clear winner. this is what happened yesterday. when MI beat RR in the first match between them shane warne said that they were blown away by MI's intensity.

today's match will be a thrilling one as RR and CSK's intensity levels match(RR slightly higher)

Why Punjab lost ?
by Secular India on Jun 01, 2008 09:39 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Its called the Zinta effect. Preeti Zinta was hugging only lighter skinned or good looking players like Brett Lee , Marsh ,Yuvraj and Irfan Pathan. When Sree was crying - the best she did was tap his shoulder. All this has pissed off other players and the team performance gone to dogs

Gony is from Punjab, a proud Indian. He serves CSK. Don't be a regionalist.

What was the above detailed analysis supposed to mean?...

Here goes Ravi... by the way what do you think of Dhoni's serve? Can he serve enough Aces or will Warne play well with his backhand rallies and winners at the net?

KXIP gave 100%

CSK gave 100% when fielding. 10% when batting.
