Mallya who is known as a genius business man selected the worst team for IPL. He bought the test team with test captain. CEO Charu Sharma with lots of experience in cricket field could not select a right team. I dont know what made them to select Kallis, Chandrapaul, Jaffer, Anil kumble. To add to the worst situation they are not playing as ateam and over hyped players Dale styne, Virat kohli are also not performing. RCB better stop playing....

Good team, Ishant Sharma should included, looking at current form RP has to leave place for Ishant. RP has a big role in DC failure, last match he bowled well and they won. Ishant is looking really tough to play, did not get many wickets because most of the teams are looking to see him off.

hey..nice team you have selected mate..i must admit! but we can probably take bhajji instead of piyush chawla (bhajji is warming the bench but he could have featured here if he did be playing) and probably can drop yusuf (he's doing good but you have named 12, so let's select only 11). Also Ishant is down in the table because he is over priced but on the basis of performance he is just unplayable. We need to take ishant and may be choose one of RP Singh/Praveen Kumar. My vote shall go with Praveen kumar on the basis of present form. Good team, My vote is for Chawala in place of Harbhajan, look at his few batting performances as well, we are anyway not going by reputation but performances (7 balls 21 ag Kolkata).

Does this analysis imply that Dada is not even in the first 25 ? What bullshit is this? Hehas easily been the most impressive player and leader so far. Rediff don't malign Dada's name and have the decency to grant him what is due.

YOu must accept the fact that he is not in the list of 25. He was impressive and not any more. Dada may be from West Bengal, but it doesn't mean that what ever he does is history. I personally believe that he was given more than what is due. Let us see the things in right perspective not with a parochical approach or jaundiced eye.

Yes. Dada has to be included. Otherwise, who can 'force' field umpire to refer to third umpire to judge a clean catch decision to his team's favour? Who can throw out his shirt when the team wins? We need 'dada'giri on the field and only Saurav dada can take us there.

Dada should stop playing T20 and focus on test cricket for the next 1-2 years before his retirement by 2009/2010. I am an ardent admirer of Sourav but still prefer to retain some common sense.

How many matches Dada has won for his team? Ms. Chatterjee. Dada cannot live in his past glory anymore. Its perform or perish. This is T20. Its a different ball-game. Dada may be good for Tests/ODIs.
