some people just dont learn . when i have posted that throughout his cricketing career he has played only 23 finals how can u say that he had played 20 finals in last 9 yrs. if u haven read my post here it is.
RE:What is great is about that?

Please ddont talk anything if u dont have the knowledge. he hasnt played 50 finals . he has played only 23 finals . in those 23 matches he has scored 5 hundreds and 6 fifties. that means he has clicked in almost half of those matches.

all of those five centuries has resulted in india winning the matches.
3 out of the 6 fifties has resulted in wins. that measn he has helped us win 8 finals . thats almost one-third of all the finals.
he averages 57.83 in those 23 final matches.

abhi sab finals mein sachin hi khelega to baaki 10 players kya taaliya bajaayenge?

so next time please do ur research before commenting anything.

in last 9 yrs , (i havent even included the sharjah final against australia) he has played 11 finals . he has 100's in 3 of them . india has won all those 3. that makes a percentage of 30%.

i m again repeating , please dont open ur mouth if u dont know the facts.

India lost in one of the matches where he scored 100. thast why these rediff people havent posted that 100.

if he scores a 100 and still india loses , thats not his fault . thats the bowlers fault. u cant blame sachin for that.

Lame Critics
by suchitk on Mar 03, 2008 12:42 PM  Permalink

One thing I have seen in this Forum. The critics just post their comments and leave. They are not open for a debate.
When asked for another players stats no replies... I guess they dont have enough Gunpowder for a fight...

One has to analyst from the above chart...sachin has played and won it in a finals after 9 years...so just think he should have played easily 20 finals in last 9 years...his percentage is almost 5% ...i dnt feel anything grt in tis. He still fits no where to stever waugh or even Yuvraj in crunch situations...if he has guts let him win another final watever the score...he will for sure get the support from team more than he expected...fyi yday was praveen wickets and bhaji wickets made 50% win ofcourse rohit gave good support toooooooo

A opener is never exposed to crunch situation its the middle order batsmen who are... That where your examples come in to the picture....
A opener is supposed to give a start and the middle order capitalise on it. Well if you can give me an accurate stat of anyone who has done better in any final than Sachin it would be great !!
Please google around for an Indian who has done better in a final....

Well i wud like to say that... if he haven't score that much in finals in last 9 years.... but he is the one who take India single handly in the Finals. Agar wo final mein fail ho jata to kya baki k players sirf team ki ginti puri karne k liye hein...? Sachin always played superb in league matches... and take India to finals.. but nt able to score that much in finals... then what abt other players who don't know their responsibility... Mate what ever u said... and what ever the critics said about sachin... that if he played only then India able to win.. THIS SHOW THAT SIR SACHIN TENDULKAR is still ONE MAN ARMY of Indian Cricket Team and rest are just to fill the positions of 11 players.

there are 11 players in a team and a---s like you expect sachin to make a hundred in each finals..the other 10 players are supposed to sit in the dressing room and enjoy...you guys are really jealous of sachin...that's all I can say

u havent replied to the stats i've provided. jst proves that u have no reply . its a fact that he has dont well in finals . its people like u who hate him for no reason.
jst to add , in those 23 innings i havent mentioned those inngs where he has scored 40's and given india a good start and thus helped india to win.
time and again sachin will give critics like u a tight slap on ur faces by playing such innings.
Yes people like me have made him god . bcos he truly deserves it.there is nobody like him . there can never be.

gr8 reply amit!!! i think rahul really needs to understand the game first..so let us give him some more time...afterall people make mistakes wen they r learning!! ok rahul let me tell u sachin is a opener ..and his role is to start the game and give it a direction ....while steve and yuvraj play down the order and thier role is to finish the game...just like sachin cannot bat fr all the 50 overs...steve and yuvraj also cant...just like sachin wont be der in the finishing stage of the game ...u cant make steve or yuvraj open the inninigs..so der is a fixed role fr every 1 in the team ...and a team wins wen every player plays according to the role given to them..!! i hope u learn something frm this useless lecture ..and get some life!! so next time u cmpare 2 people with role alloted to them! we cant compare aamir wid darsheel as they both support each other!!!

i completely agree with what you are saying
sachin has contributed a lot to indian cricket from last 17 years and is contuning to do so in present time also ...
people criticising him are completely unaware about the game of cricket and they should learn cricket first and then should make comment if able to grasp the game completely

All people are saying suchin failed in 2003 WC finals but they fail to understand that suchin got out to none other than tha great bowler Glen Mcgrath. It not only take a ricky ponting but also a Mcgrath to win finals. That what we call as team effort.
