Mallya cannot or doesn't have the guts to sack Rahul, so instead he asked Charu to leave. In this cricket crazy nation, even small kids know the caliber of a cricket player, so Mallya cannnot wash his hands and say "after the team selection my friends congratulated me for selecting a test team". Mallya is also accountable for that.
like Charu Sharma, you accept a position or responsibility, which you clearly know for yourself, that you are least qualified or skilled or experienced to handle.
Being CEO of a Cricket Team Franchisee is not like becoming a commentator or a Minister in India, that you can expect to get away scot free with non or wrong performance.
Harsha Bogle is a far better commentator than Charu Sharma on cricket matches. But neither of them could be entrusted with responsibility of motivating a team consisting of international players and stars to mould or gel into a winning competition.
To Charu's question as to what the owners of the RCB team wanted to gain by sacking him, the answer is there for all to see - RCB ended up with a few more wins under the stewardship of Brijesh Patel, including an unexpected one against CSK!

With a name like that, its probably okay that you believed that RCB won a few under Brijesh Patel.. ;-) I thought Rahul Dravid was leading the team...
But then I am wrong coz my name is not Bald Head.. ;-)
Kindly explain to me O' diligently named one, why didn't India proceed to the second round in the World Cup under Greg Chappell?.. Is he not a good captain?.. ;-)

u r right.trusting a joker like charu is itself exposes his knowledge on the game itself
sacking charu is a lot delayed step.except talking for hours all nonsense he cannot do much.he started the concept EXTRA INNINGS in set max alongwith his longtime companion mandira for WC 03.It is not EXTRA INNINGS It is extra match.they talk all idiotic stuff and they bring in astrologists who dont know anything about astrology and wat ever that astrologist says wont happen.that is charu's show on set max.most idiotic joker
