IN the first place,our squad selection is poor.Also,I don't think Kumble is a good selection for the captainship.They should have taken rohit sharma instead of rahul dravid.Why don't we give more opportunies to players like piyush chawla(whos is a good bowler as well as who can turn the ball more).Gony hasn't been used well since his IPL debut. Anyway,its too late to discuss about the selection.But I would say that If sachin and Gambhir opens the innings with Laxman coming 1 down,then India has a better opportunity to pile up runs.Kumble is not at all getting big spins and thats a problem.He has every thing--pace,accuracy but spin.
May be i can figure out laxman and sachin... they r fine and not as worst as ganguly and dravid.
Dravid use to play well in past....but for last 5-6 test matches he was going doe=wn with his performance....so i dont think he deserve the place in test matches....now

Laxman and sachin are fine......
one thing that worries is... how laxman was out in both the innings... if he gets out in this fashion...he cant survive for more that 50 runs... can he make 50 in evry innings...no obviously not....
sachin... he need to show patience.... his age is making him not maintain patience...bur he has too...
india forgot to include young faces with lots of experience in domestic level in test matches...
one player...who is been ignored for lang time from now is.... S.Badrinath

M.Kaif Y.Venugopal Rao R.sharma S.raina( not sure abt him.... shd b given a chance) A.chopra
finally my team would be(which will give better indian team in future too):
G.Ghambir Y.venugopal Rao/A.chopra Laxman Sachin S.badrinath R.Sharma M.dhoni A.mishra(seems to be promising)/P.Chawla A.kumble(let him be for 1 yr. and give his experience to young bowlers) I.Sharma Sreesanth

there is no use of seniors in the side as players who could not play even 10 overs of test cricket instead successfull players from the ipl be given chances seniors be allotted to coach their respective statese
Parthiv in place of Karthik Pragyan ojha in place of the so called spinner bhajji Rohit in place of Dravid Amit mishra in place of Kumble Zaheer should be given captaincy.
it will be intresting to c.. how these old warriors going to fight in the rest of the series against the Mennice of Murali n Mendis.. its a challenge n they need to come up with some strategy n application... before bending the kneese..
