mr. singh i believe you are following his game for many years now. dont go through his strike rate & average. consider his inability to win the game on his own. i think in his whole ODI international career, india won 2-3 games by his "extra-ordinary" skills.

IF U PLAY UP THEN U MAY BE BEFOOLED AS MOST OF INDIAN BASTSMEN DI IN THE FIRST TEST AS WELL AS IN ASIA CUP FINAL. DON'T TRY TO BE HERO. JUST PLAY FOR COUNTRY AND TEAM. THOSE WHO WANT TO PROVE , DESPITE SCORING MORE THAN 10000 RUNS, THAT STILL CRICKET IS LEFT IN HIM CAN NEVER WIN MATCHES. Dravid and Ganguly should not play together. Only one of them should be included. Kumble should be retire.
i think senseless indiana cricket fans are reponsible for teamindias debacle. Hero worshiping made these crickets feel like demi gods and they often forgot to perform.
It is sad to see how our memory fades away so easily.All of us who are criticizing Sachin,Rahul,Ganguly,Lakshman and Kumble had thoroughly enjoyed the golden moments gifted by all these maestros.Please let us stop pounding on them for just one failure.The same old faces won us Perth test few months back,the same old faces won us series in England.They are their best judges and they know best when to hang up their boots.Let us stop giving opinion who to retire and when to retire.This is not the way to treat our heros who have won many matches for us.Even the younger team failed against Mendis and Murali in Asia cup final.Does that mean we ask them to retire as well????If the seniors are so influential then they would have never been dropped from one-day squad also.
so you want these players to play until they become 60 years old......it is like pension scheme of govt employee....we knew about their past & respect for that...but there is limit for everyone....every new day there are 100 of players knocking the doors of BCCI...these seniors should undertsnd this...it is beeter step down with respect than "kickback"

Rahul Dravid has given selfless service to Indian Cricket for such a long period. I fail to understand why such a person as he, should allow himself to be bracketed with selfish players like Sachin and Ganguly. The way he has been playing of late, he is not even a shadow of his former self. I appeal to his conscience to announce retirement from International Cricket immediately. Sachin will not retire after that, but he will be under more pressure to perform, fail more frequently, and so on.
dravid is also selfish. why he is playing so many years in ODI inspite of his worst record. do you think he is ODI player???? he used to play more number of balls than his score which put pressure on the team. lot of time india lost the game due to dravid's tortoise like batting.

His ODI record has not been so bad. His strike rate is just a couple of runs lower than Ganguly. In addition, he kept wickets for a number of years.

No. The bowlers are only responsible for not being able to win the match. After Srilanka declared at 600/6, it was for the batsmen to bat for 2 1/2 days and save the game. Batsmen have lost it for us. And come to think of it! We have God playing in our Team as a batsman.

My humble request to all Indian cric fans. Please watch this series for Sachin's World record only.... Whether India win or lose should be taken secondary. After all only records make players great. This whole series is being played only for Sachin so that he can break Lara's record. So pls bear with indian team.

Next time we shall see. This time we shall introduce India weapons. First we shall axacute OBC quota. Our team shall have 75% OBC players. So we shall ask umpire to give 50 runs per player as bonus.
Then we have Indian style - WE SHALL BRIBE THE PLAYERS.
Jayawardene - Rs. 5 crores Muralee - Rs. 5 crores Mendis - Rs. 4 crores ( If we pay Mendis also 5 crores then Muralee will get very angry, hahaha) Vaas - Rs. 3 crores (This time he was not dangerous but better to take care )
All other Lanka batsmen - Rs. 1 crore But we shall pay Rs. 2 crore if they score below 10 runs per innings. For every duck another Rs. 50 lakhs BONUS.
