Agarkar is being missed. Indians bowled badly in Asia Cup and Tri Series and now in SL they are bowling badly too. Till Indian selectors unfairly ignore him, this will be the state of Indian bowling. On top of it, he is being prevented to join Worcestershire county. BCCI is full of fools.
SL will bat for another session and score 500 . India can bat for next wo days and the match will be a draw. If SL can force a follow on then it could be a different story.
I dont know why ur blaming Anil Kumble for everything, If there is someone to blame it should be Dilip Vengserkar, Dilip Vengserkar made blunder by selecting nonsense Team for Bangladesh Kitply Cup and Asia Cup, Dilip Vengserkar gave chances to idiotic morons Robin Uthappa, Irfan Pathan and Piyush Chawla just bcoz MS DHoni wanted them in the Team.
Now Dilip Vengserkar has made another blunder by selecting Zaheer Khan, Munaf Patel and Harbhajan Singh for Test Matches, Everyone knows that Harbhajan Singh is better ODI bowler than Test Match bowler instead Dilip Vengserkar should have selected Pragyan Ojha or Amit Mishra as the other Spinner................................

Mr. Sachin, kumble said in his interview that he got the team he wanted...so the entire team is of his liking.. and i dont understand ur logic..if its ODI then its dhoni who is 2 b blamed but if its tests then its the selctors who shud be blamed...
kumble is biased in selecting karthik. look at the catch drops of pathetic karthik, kumble is persisting n prefering karthik over parthiv. that just shows how regionalistic he is.
if kumble wants karthik to b in the team, he shud get him as a batsman n not as a keeper. today's karthik's performance itself is a proof.

true. mishra cud hv been much better option esp in test matches. he is just the kind of bolr for longer version of ckt.
but reason for blaming kumble is also obvious. when he gets the 15, still he shows biasedness or rather regionalistic repeat regionalistic approach while selecting pathetic keeper karthik ahead of deserving parthiv. ppl compare parthiv's keeping done by him 5 years back n forget all the hard work n improvement done by him since then. n for batting, if karthik has done well so has done by parthiv also. karthik is out of form even in batting. look at his ipl scores. kumble prefers karthik for the known reasons.

Vinay thugh I endorse ur views but I beg to differ, If U remember in the Practice Match Dinesh Karthik scored 58 runs in the first inings along with Sachin Tendulkar who scored 69 runs whereas all other Indian batsman failed.
Although Parthiv patel is better wicket-keeper than Dinesh Karthik in ODI's but Dinesh Karthik has better batting record than Parthiv Patel in Test Matches, Remember Dinesh Karthik scored useful runs in MTN Test Series in South Africa.
According to Me Dinesh Karthik is automatically the first choice as wicket-keeper batsman and Anil Kumble does not have any regional feelings......................

even i admire karthik in the sense that when no one thought beyond dhobi in ind ckt, karthik came on the scene n went on play good innings with bat in sa n then in eng. subsequent performance is not noteworthy n he is flop.
as far as batting is concerned, parthiv is not much behind. in fact, he scored more than 1500 runs this season n that also against all quality opponents scoring 6 consecutive centuries on all the pitches (including overseas pitches in sa/zimb). even he is opening the batting n proved his worth against the best in ipl. the only contention is to gv the chance to the deserved one n parthiv deserves a better chance. nothing against karthik though.

How can a kannadiga(Kumble) has reagional feelings for a tamilian(Karthik). Can anybody explain?
karthik is not a good choice. Jayawardene had a let off, also on 55, when wicketkeeper Dinesh Karthik dropped an edge off Anil Kumble. parthiv is performing very well but biased kumble vl not take him. inspite of all the follies, karthik vl b preferred by biased kumble for the known reasons.

just to b the first to refer the decsion of ump, which didnt serve any purpose. even bhajji the bolr was not making appeal. it was just casual n turned down. kumble went unnecesary asking for referral of the decision, thereby wasting precious chance of the 3 available with the team.
