The recently concluded IPL was a perfect showcase of his prowess as a WK and a batsman. He has come a long way and should be given a chance at the international level. All the best Parthiv.

no matter how much parthiv may have improved but i hig keeping is not good........
whereas dhoni is a safe keeper ........he hardly misses any catch

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA, Then who missed those chances in Bangladesh and Aisa Cup, Maybe Dhoni was playin Pocket Cricket when batsman gave him s catch...................
Batting is not a problem for Parthiv. He proved this in past when he opened the inning in Pakistan against S.Akhtar & M.Sami and made Half Century. In Australia 2003 his batting performance was very good against best bowling attack in the world (B.Lee., J.Gillepie, G.Macgrath). In first class matches he has made some big scores (more than 150) with almost 80 strike rate. D.Karthik has got many chances, he is big flop.

Parthiv is worst keeper between all three. But in absence of Dhoni we need good wicketkeeper batsman. Thats why Parthiv should get first chance.
i think parthiv is a batsman of much higher calibure than dhoni and karthik. he faced brett lee and co when he was 17 in 2003 and also made half centuries against them.
sometimes he looks like ganguly on off side. he should get first preference than karthik

Abhi, kabhi cricket dekha karo.....
Dhoni given chance to Parthiv in IPL to keep wicket and dhoni was fielding..... They are good friends...... and Parthiv's confidence in batting has also improved a lot during. IPL Dhoni has given him a chance to SL....

nahin, tumhe yahin rehna hai aur apne papon ka hisab issi nark me dena hai.kitne baar murgi,goat etc etc ko khaya hai.
Parthiv or dinesh, both have a short stint so don feel good or bad on them. Kumble is on verge of retirement and Dhoni will definitely take over post him. So.....RELAX....
