dhoni should not have taken rest in test cricket.he must realize that test cricket is the most important form of cricket. he has taken a big risk, if patel or karthik are able to peform in 3 test matchest then dhoni is definetly gone

we need gangu and laxman in first test by their latest performance against SA in last test series, dravid has not played well last year averaging just 34 in 6 test series from nov 2006 against SA to march 2008 against SA. But his past record keeps him in the team

If India will go with 5 bowlers then definitely Dravid will be the wicket-keeper. No chance for D.Karthik. Parthiv will get the chance first.

One correction!!!!!. Pragyan Ojha is not from Hyderabad, he is is basically from ORISSA. played Ranji trophy for orissa. It was only for IPL matches he was selected for Hyderabad team. I may appeal to the moderator to make the necessary correction

It is like Zaheer Khan who was selected from Boroda and was from Mumbai. Anyways he claims himself to be from Mumbai. I donno about Ojhs's comments
I expect this Ind-SL series outcome to be one all. It would be good to see some good innings on days 1,2 and 3 and good spells on days 4 and 5. Pragyan is a good prospect but I don't find him getting the place in the 11 ahead of jumbo and bhajji.

Parthiv has potential to replace Dhoni from test cricket, but Dinesh Karthik he is duck master. I don't remember any test series where he is not gone on a duck. He need some chances to play a big inning.

i think he has talent, but even amit mishra bowled well in ipl but he was not selected. ojha needs to understand that this is test cricket not ipl. i hope the youngster does well
i think he should bowl to ganguly most of the times in the nets as dada is best palyer of left arm spinners, by that way he can also learn to ball to qwality players. i think it was ojha only who clean bowled ganguly in ipl match, this was the first time i saw ganguly getting bowled to a left arm spinner
