CLASS SPORTS PERSON NOT THERE
by Anselm Pinheiro on Jul 04, 2008 11:07 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

After Formula 1 champion Michael Schumacher quitting the class of every sport is missing like.
a) Tennis- After exit of Tim Henman, Hennin and Hingis In Wimbeldon Sharapova, Ivanovic, the top seed are not playing good. Fedrer is struggling.
B) Golf- Tiger woods injured and will not play for the entire year.
c)CRICKET- after the exit of Ganguly, Sachin and Dravid. there is no class batsman in the team. Where the commentrator says on behalf of INDIA that "that is the shot of the day" or "What a class shot that is" or " Straight down the ground" never these things comes. Which means that sports is missing of class people.

Dude its nt about the class its the effectiveness. Many people criticise about Viv Richards about his techn., some criticise Gary Sobers as he always played front on and not side on.
But those two players were always be known as some of the greatest player of alltime.

regarding tennis hingis was good only for 2-3 years but after that it was always about williams sister then the russians. To be honest greatest thing about sport is unpredictablity only.

U know F1 was so concerned when Schumi was winning every race because of less interest of people that next season they change the rule for engine change.

And i believe there is only one class and that is to win everything

India can play well in absence of so-called greats.
by puca on Jul 04, 2008 11:04 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Performance of India in absence of Tendulkar/Dravid/ganguly shows that they are simply media made heros. Thier ground reality is they all are big flopps in crucial matches. And new breed of India team is good enough to represent country for all form of cricket.

the one day series indsia won in australia was due to two consecutive good knocks frm the grt sachin.
first ask these young players to perform in seaming tracks.yuvraj plad 2 test matches in australia but disappointed.
sachin was the most consistent in that series followed by laqxman and ganguly

SL didnt try hard enough, but India would have won anyways. Like MJ said, its easier to play India in the finals than Pak at home. These India Pak matches appear fixed.
