Because his record speaks for itself. He is the only bowler whose per wicket average is below 29 runs of the bowlers who have taken 150 wickets or more. Even Zaheer has a higher average. Agarkar has only to be fit to make a comeback... Everybody is waiting for his 300th wicket in ODIs..

AGARGAR is a good player but not compared with zaheer or pathan. they are special to remove the openers and top batsmans. but agargar record says he has performed well against mostly down order except some players like chris gaile, etc. but he is good bowler.

and from where venugopal rao creeps in........does any one know for which state he plays now??..........god help u rama..........think befre speaking..

if u dont know which state Venugopal play for now, here is the answer: Maharashtra. What is wrong if Venu gets another opportunity. After all indian idiot selector's are known for surprises. Why not Venu? when all n sundry are getting one after another chance. He is a superb player from a humble background like pravin amre and vinod kambli and that is the problem...... without godfather/influence he has started loosing his form...... Comeback is quite difficult but who knows.... as always idiots may pick him next time, if too many dashing players currently in the team fails to deliver..... Dont harp on something if u dont know about, anything is possible.

venugopal does not have enough strength to do big hitting. Moreover what is his track record? Does it justify his selection when so many proved talents are sitting on the bench. wherefrom the humble background comes in the way of performance? I feel he has been given more chances than he deserves.

Then why not we try M. Kaif who is much better batsman and fielder than anyone in India. Also he has shown his caliber, many times in the past and also in the domestic matches.

cricket is just an game...indians dirty every thing everywhere..there is no honesty nor pride left in this game...its said when an Indian enters anything he adds his touch..ie dishonesty,anti-nationalism,dirty tactics..etc.etc...thats it..if u think cricket is being played in india badly..think about it being influsenced by the Indian spirit of dishonesty and corruption

Tendulkar replies with his bat, just like he slapped you and all his critics with his bat in the Test series. But still you love being slapped by him again and again, and therefore criticize him, lol. Aren't you tired of getting slapped by his bat again and again ?

You people will never understand .. seems only you are smart and all are stupid .. who do you think should be there in the team instead of Sachin? He is not from one State .. he is from India .. and every one knows that .. except a few idiots like you (and ur supporters here) .. Sachin is the best batsmen ever for India and may be the world .. still he has haters like you from his own country .. shame on you :P

U are absolutely right Priyadharshan.. Sachin never plays under pressure and everyone including sachin knows this.. It is evident even in this series that he has not even succeeded even once in this series in the second innings.. And the comedy part is he is there in the oneday squad and ganguly is left out siting age reasons as if dada is 45 and sachin is 25.. Agarkar: God only knows how come a cricketer who can perform once in 1000000 matches consistently gets a place in the team.. Ramesh powar when some one sees his fitness people would laugh about our selection commitee.. He is a big baloon and soon it wil burst..

"Teri Maki" sachin is a complete cricketer than ganguly. and uske jaisa cricketer paida nahi hua and na hoga, Best cricketer in the world , he can even bowl leggies, offy and medium pace. all opponents concentrate more on sachin then any one in the indian team. all are charged up when he is batting.

i don't understand what bharadwaj trying to say? sachin is the best batsman in the world from india not from mumbai. moreover people like sachin batting all over india as well as in the world. he is the top scorer last year. here we mention that no juniour players get this much runs. even dhoni, yuvi played more matches than sachin.i felt unhappy to omit ganguly from team. but why should u tell to remove sachin too. that is what i didn't understand? everyone like sachin batting, might be he didn't perform well in the pressure situation but some times his plays overcome the pressure situation. for example, last test match he hit 153 runs when india struggling 157/4. same inthe sydney test too 154 when india struggling. so don't critise sachin.

Yea, that's why Sachin scored 153 in the 1st innings when Dravid, Ganguly, Sehwag, Laxman, etc were all at the pavilion and India were struggling to put up even 200 runs on the board ?

I THINK YOU ARE SUFFERING FROM ANTI- SACHIN MANIA, LIKE MANY TRAITORS, HOW CAN YOU IGNORE NUMEROUS MATCH WINNING CENTURIES OF SACHIN, SACHIN HAS SCORED 41 ODI CENTURIES AND NO OTHER HAS EVEN SCORED MORE THAN 22, GO AND GET YOUR BRAIN SCANNED
