India bowling coach Venkatesh Prasad had declared that the visitors had the best bowling attack in the world.... LOL
looks like Venkatesh Prasad has been hit on the head by a ball bowled by one of the bowlers and has totally lost his bearings.... Has he gone crazy to announce after just one vistory that India has the best attack in the world? Now he will say that because of his coaching, they have become the best bowlers in the world... Then he will declare that he is the best bowling coach in the world... This is what happens in Indian cricket.. You win one match and people start thinking that they are unbeatable and all that stuff...and then lose one match and people will bury you....

LOL... dat wuz a gud one
our bcci and selection panel are the two opponents to the indian team. they lose the game even before they start the series becoz of the BUNCH OF JOKERS at the helm

For a long time, I also felt that Mohinder Amarnath's famous words (selectors are a bunch of jokers) are very correct.
But on second thoughts and introspection, we cannot really heap the entire blame on selectors, administrators etc.
Look at the way Kapil Dev emerged as a leading fast bowler / allrounder. Look at the way Vishwanath, Gavaskar etc. batted. Look at the way Dravid, Laxman etc have come up with their batting. Most importantly, look at the way Anil Kumble has set a magnificent benchmark for the performance of a bowler - playing for 18 years, scalping 600 batsmen in 124 tests at a good average of 5 wickets per match played.
These players have become legends by sheer hardwork and singleminded, dedicated efforts DESPITE the system or lack of it.
In the Adelaide test starting tomorrow, I would like Dravid, Laxman and Ganguly to score big runs at a healthy strike rate and help the team win, forgetting totally their omission from ODI side. This will be the best way of replying to the selectors and whoever else wanted them out of the ODI side. On the contrary expressing disgust, displaying a lack of spirit or enthusiasm, feeling down and out will neither help the players to gain entry to ODI side, nor encourage selectors to retain them in the test side.
As the saying goes, the tough get going when the going gets tough.
it is true that indian bowlers also missed hayden in perth.there will be a warm welcome from the indian bowlers specially from pathan to the crease for hayden.Surely india shd win this test match ignoring all that nonsense that prevailed due to illogical ,idiotic sacking of rahul and ganguly for the onedayers.players shd forget for this most important test and shut aussie cheaters'mouth shut
This shows aussies are very arrogant. "We have had a little glitch in the radar." Still they want to admit they were outplayed by india in perth. How shame. Let them wait and see. India is gonna win the adelaide match and level the series.By now India should have been leading the series 2-1 , thanks to the umpires. Aussies shouldnot forget. I think aussies are finding hard to digest that they actually a lost a testmatch. I wont be surprised if they come flat in adelaide, less in confidence. Most of the players , this is their first testmatch loss. So they will be less confident. This is time India can cashin. India will win...

moreover mr.mohan,Adelaide is quite similar to tracks in india and it should suit the indians. In 1992,Azhar nearly won the match before india lost by 36 runs.2003 india test match and now they shd win this test by a much more convincing margin. So welcome hayden and company for another defeat.Aussies mentally shd face 2-2 verdict by monday.I am sure this test will stretch to 5 days.it cannot be over in 4 days.this is not perth.Aussies wont win as they did in MCG.no more bucknor so no repeat of SCG.only way for aussies is to accept india a much much much better side.
