Why dropped DADA, Dada se Dadagiri Mehngi Padegi......
by Parmjeet on Jan 21, 2008 12:05 PM  Permalink

Everybody knows there are bunch of fool people in the selection committee, who are taking decision by keeping there eyes closed.
Can it be possible if any selectors can give appropriate reason to drop DADA from ODI.

This is really shame for India to ignore the experienced talent which can dig the Indian team into MUD.
And it is sure that our team cannot performed well without DADA at this stage.

With these top rated players still having energy levels to score & the young inexperienced players in the side....I think the management has taken a tough decision for which they may repent later...

Focus on Future players
by S Shrikanth on Jan 21, 2008 12:03 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

If focus is on future players then how Mr Tendulkar has been spared. Only because he belongs to Bombay, Mr Pawar and Mr Vengsarkar are his uncles in Bombay.

How they forgot that many of the one day matches won by Team India of late were actually made possible due to aggressive headstart given by Ganguly. You can not forget Dravid how he pulled the match from South Africa's jaws in the 4th one day in Ireland. Bombay is behaving the same way as it had behaved in past. Gavaskar used to carry his Bombay team besides Kapil Dev and Kirmany. The other exceoption was Vishwanath, but he is Gavaskar's B'in law.

How come you morons blame Sachin ???

He is the greatest ODI batsman ever and the most consistent. How can you imagine a team with Tendulkar?

Selector's have not guts to SACK Sachin
by Tapas Moulik on Jan 21, 2008 12:00 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Selector's have not guts to SACK Sachin. Ganguly's form is better than Sachin.
Dravid & Laxman are also good player.
Sachin would play till 58 years unless and untill he resign from playing cricket.

Ganguly Dropped!Okay! Why Sachin Retained in ODI?
by debanjan chaudhuri on Jan 21, 2008 12:00 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Dear BCCI Leaders!I just can't make out the reason behind the omission of Sourav Ganguly in Australia? If we assume the reason as "Young Bloods are making ways now".What about Sachin Tendulkar? Is it because of Mr.Pawar & Mr.Tendulkar both hail from Maharashtra?Every Indian will agree with Ganguly's comeback performance since last 1 Year & so.I feel a reshuffling is required in the BCCI itself.

Great News.

Now I agree with Ganguly if he gets dropped from Tests as well - India surely will become No. 1 team in the world.
He is our weak link and even he himself realises it. Ture Indian.
Country first - Cheers to Ganguly for such selfless attitude and lovely prediction.

Ranji Finalists Need Quota
by outspoken on Jan 21, 2008 11:53 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Half of the team should be filled with top regional players from Ranji Finalists. An Ombusman for BCCI is no bad idea. I don't understand what value Rajiv Shukla delivers to Indian cricket, other than a clever fixer.
