to all his detractors. kumble has handled the situation of this series better than probably any other former captain who are currently playing in that team. he was like an astute diplomat. he's a perfect ambassador of the game. kudos, and i hope he unites the team, and leads the team to more victories. stats will always be there. he's done a great job as a captain that the stats that we are paying attention to! he's helped the indians to believe that we can do what the rest of the cricket playing nations have struggled to do.
Fantastic acheivement. Everyone have enjoyed watching you bowl whether it is spinning or not, googly or straight delivery still the other teams are finding it hard against you. I wish you should go ahead and enter the 700 mark.
this was a choc a bloc performance from ur side... for showing ur cool in australia and for the first time one could sense the aussies under some pressure.....
It is indeed "the greatest achievement" by any Indian cricketer, to have claimed 600 wickets in Tests, a feat which will remain deeply etched in record books for ever! Nobody can even dream of nearing that magic figure, let alone surpassing it, as no other Indian bowler, present or future, has that much `strike rate' as Jumbo has! It may not be too far if Jumbo even joins the "exclusive 700 club"! ALL THE BEST TO JUMBO!

Patrioism aside. Face the facts - Difference between the two great bowlers- Warne Spins the ball. Kumble bowls the straighter one. But do not let that dent your pride. 600 is 600.

Well Kumble got to 600 one test earlier than Warne - so I would say - he is better?? And how can you take away from murali - he is far better and far more destructive than Warnie.
