Aussies played well within the rules of the game, which allows one to appeal for dismissals and NOT walk until the umpire rules OUT. Atleast that is what I thought the rules of the game are, unless they have been bent in India's favour by the BCCI. On the other hand, if the rules havent changed, why this hue and cry? Have people forgotten the umpteen wrong decisions for close in catches in the Indian subcontinent? How come there was no protest then? Whatever happened to the "sportsman" spirit at that point?

wrong decisions in Indian Subcontinent. In favor of Whom, Mr. Mukherjee ? In 2001, Slater took a bump catch of Dravid in Mumbai test. Umpire Venkat raghavan ignored the apeal. Slater went on to first fight with Umpire Raghvan...Then he went on to Dravid asking him to walk... Do u remeber that scene ? Where was ICC then ? An umpire was being questioned by a player...where was Match Refree ? It was like school children playing gully cricket... chup kar bangali dada..jaa maachh bhaat kha.

You are talking about prehistoric time sir. And if I remember some people did protested at those days too. Hardly any media supported that. Any way it is difficult to make you realize it if it is not coming from inside.

remember, players are allowed to appeal, not asked to deliver decisions based on their views, when an umpire wants to confirm with them.

But if we don't respond, they will bring up another idiotic question on Indian domination on ICC

voicing opinion is a decent way of fighting back. There is benefit in voicing opinion because thelaxy, inefficient BCCI has woken up and is supporting Bhajji and team.
If not for the people protesting, BCCI would not have cared about the Indian team as long as the money kept flowing in.
Prem Sir, You have outdone yourself! Surely, someone who can voice your writings is needed at the top, or at least, where the Indians are now. And I'd love to see Bob's reaction, and certainly hope he reads it! Do please use your journalistic contacts to get to him and shove this article up his, well, hmmm...eyes.
