This is how the "Egoist" britishers will answer to the verdict given by ICC. There are no way out but to criticise the Indian cricket by these worse statements. The feeling between Whitish skins with the others will be more differentiating after these incidents. The white jeolous's cant believe that other countries can also play the game with efficiency.
It is a great feeling to see glimpses of an Indian to be aggressive, in fact we are fighting back -defending!
We have been passive for the past 2000 years and were defenseless - This had permeated deep into the pschye of Indians that we are born passive and by blood passive!

BCCI should launch a report on ponting for cheating or misguiding the umpires. the same procter who had punished the pak wkt kpr Latif for one bounce catch, why not now didn't take action aginst australians. Ponting Clarke should be punished for lying.

I am unaware if you're Australian, but your threat about India suffering if Australia stops playing cricket with it is even more silly school-girlish than what this Craddock chap has been busy dishing out. India can well prosper without cricket, but let us see if global cricket can even survive without us. We're not bothered if some corners of the world think we're bidding for domination. That is your problem - if you chose to think that way. I hope you are just a kid who is trying newly-learnt English skills in this forum, because if you are a grown up from Australia, God save your country! Btw, whatever we Indians are, we are not cowards and hence we mention our names when we express our opinions. Your response is just so full of crap that had it not been for your allegations leveled against my country as a whole, I would not have thought it worthy of my words (or anybody's for that matter).
Now just be thankful to God that people in your country just do not know what terrorism is, because we know and we would not want anybody (especially cowards like you) to face it. But this is about cricket and not terrorism.
Now it is time you snapped out of your dreams, because wake up and look around. It is India who is running the game - it is Indian players that bring throngs of spectators to the grounds and Indian companies that sponsor tournaments. If India did boycott Australia, what it would mean is that Australia would have to fool kids like you into believing that Pura Cup is the World Test Series and your other domestic tournaments qualify as World Cups. Don't worry, USA does it with baseball. Prem has very well explained the cultural differences that have given rise to this problem, but I guess his explanation is beyond you.You need to get better exposure to the world as it is, and not as you dream it (and you are trying here - I can see that). G'day Prashant This is neither aggressive nor defensive. I just wanted to pick up on a comment you made about cultural differences, apparently referred to by Prem. I don't know what he said exactly, but I do know that I have been saying to all and sundry (to the point of absolute boredom) that there are cultural misunderstandings and they cut both ways. Indians regard Aussies as boorish and arrogant; Aussies regard Indians as defensive and paranoid - both of course extreme generalisations. In truth, the cultures are different. Neither is right or better - they are what they are. We should enjoy both and make an effort to understand. (This obviously applies to Ponting as well). We need good will, not mutual abuse, to overcome the hostilities. Cheers Bob

That's right, the cultures are different. But the difference between Aussies and the other teams is: Aussies have been "imposing" their culture on their opponents. And this has been going on for decades. They have been saying things to other teams which could be considered "okay" in their culture but gravely offensive in other cultures. That explains all this hue and cry over the "monkey" as compared to the "B" word.
Now, when the Indians are emulating the Aussies at their own game, they are not prepared to accept it.
Cultural differences should be respected, agreed .But shouldn't this respect be "mutual" rather than one-sided?

Wonderful! So no Aussie cricketer ever indulged in match fixing eh? Yes what you have said about our cricketers is very true. There is no other team worth playing against than the Aussies as things stand today in world cricket. This is if India wants to truly test its mettle that is. SA, NZ, and England are okay but Australia is a different kettle of fish. Sharks more likely. Indians at best are wimps compared to Aussies but the wimps that are most likely to give a headache or two to the World Champs. Like they did in the 20/20. As regards corrupt practices of the cricket officials, the less said the better. Corruption is the only prevailing culture in India and sadly and bizarrely this is being promoted at the institutional levels! Even God cannot save India from corruption. How can He when each citizen is being brought up on a diet of dishonesty and corruption and pride for all the wrong reasons? The problem with the current event is not with Symonds or Bhajji but with the way in which this has been dealt with. One person was believed because of his nationality (Australian) not to talk of his color and another one was not because of his nationality (Indian) and color! This is the crux of the matter. Deny it if you can.

Srinivas I don't think that either of us is in a position to confirm or deny what went on, because we weren't there (and sorry to all, but so-called "excerpts" may or may not be accurate). I would point out, so that you understand, that the term "monkey" has a history, as it is the term used by rabid white racists in European football aimed at black footballers. Australia, by the way, is a very egalitarian place, and colour of skin generally (I say generally, because there are racists, as there are everywhere, but relatively few compared to most places in the world) is totally irrelevant. I thought I'd mention this, since you seem to think that colour somehow has a significant part in this. Cheers Bob

After watching the test match, I feel some rules have to be incorporated by ICC to give the other teams a perfect clarification (1) Ricky Ponting %u2013 (THE TRULY GENUINE CRICKETER OF THE CRICKET ERA AND WHOSE INTEGRITY SHOULD NOT BE DOUBTED) should be considered as the FOURTH UMPIRE. As per the new rules, FOURTH UMPIRE decision is final and will over ride any decisions taken by any other umpires. ON-FIELD umpires can seek the assistance of RICKY PONTING even if he is not on the field. This rule is to be made, so that every team should understand the importance of the FOURTH UMPIRE.
(2) While AUSTRALIAN TEAM is bowling, If the ball flies anywhere close to the AUSTRALIAN FIELDER(WITHIN 5 metre distance), the batsman is to be considered OUT irrelevant of whether the catch was taken cleanly or grassed. Any decision for further clarification should be seeked from the FOURTH UMPIRE. This is made to ensure that the cricket is played with SPORTIVE SPIRIT by all the teams.
(3) While BATTING, AUSTRALIAN players will wait for the ON-FIELD UMPIRE decisions only (even if the catch goes to the FIFTH SLIP as the ball might not have touched the bat). Each AUSTRALIAN batsman has to be out FOUR TIMES (minimum) before he can return to the pavilion. In case of THE CRICKETER WITH INTEGRITY, this can be higher.
(4) UMPIRES should consider a huge bonus if an AUSTRALIAN player scores a century. Any wrong decisions can be ignored as they will be paid huge bonus and will receiv
