Sydney Test - A Con-Test!!
by A. Master on Jan 09, 2008 01:23 AM  Permalink

Mr. Paniker has given a fitting reply to those who indulge in India-bashing. It is for the world to see the gross injustce that India faced in the Sydney Test. For a moment, to me it seemed the umpires were hand-in-gove with the Australians...wanting to give them that goddamn 16th-Test-win-on-the-trot record. The way the Aussies went about it would make a con artist look amateur. And when they couldn't succeed, they went after Harbajan Singh. As the situation stands, India the country, all us Indians, the body we so fondly refer to as BCCI and the players should stand up for Harbajan and back him to the hilt. Nothing less than an unconditional apology from Cricket Australia and a revoke of the ban will do...or should be accepted. As for the Aussie captain...HE SHOULD BE SACKED...for bringing the game of cricket into disrepute. I rest my case!!

in any law enforcing body, before finding anyone guilty, we need proof. if no proof, then u can't rule that person guilty.. period. only way to solve this.. have 360 video cameras on the field and zoom in and do lip reading to provide proof

Panicker interpretation is wrong on Indian domination On ICC
by Rajendrakumar Dastapur on Jan 09, 2008 01:21 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Mr. Panicker you are totaly wrong in iterpretation you are using Indian domiantion over ICC as shield to protect Australians.I say it is the domination of australia over ICC.When Justice goes wrong against you when you are not guilty you will understand what is the impact on you. This is how Austaralia is dominating as champions not playing game in the spirit of Game. The way ricky poting behaved & Symonds wrong allegetaion on herbajan should ban life long from palying Cricket any where in the world.

Panicker is an emotional nutcase!
by bill on Jan 09, 2008 01:13 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

(OK, Prem, I am ready, go ahead and delete my post again)

Panicker does not contribute anything in this emotional diatribe. There is not an iota of objectivity. This nutbag sits at his desk and delets all posts that dissent with his opinion. He is a long-winded (with extra long sentences), arrogant dude who seem to revel in posts that favor his view. Does anyone smell CULT-HUNGER?

I guess, you should go and read the column written by other "Gentleman" first who spoke in lengths about standing up against BCCI and its money-power muscle.

Prem's writings were a reply to him. Let me mention, ICC's revenue around 70% of them comes from BCCI.... Decisions have gone against us, we have been called racist and a player has been banned for 3 test matches... we could do more than flexing our money power muscle..

But this use to be Gentlemens game, and if it will be called so in future, it will be because of us Indians and not due to you Aussies... where racism smells in every bylanes...

Sir,

Do you have personal problems with the writer? otherwise, what has triggered your anger against the writer? Your resonse does not seem to be about the article. Isn't it?

If you are an Australian, then please feel free to write about ponting and company. if you are happy at what happened in Sydney, please express your happiness, but why show up anger and distasteful language against anyone.
Although, if you have a personal dispute with the writer, then use some other forum to express it.
Thanks and Happy new year

Bill, arrogance, cult-hunger and racial remarks are the cultural traits of the cricketing game down under, we have seen enough evidence when captains can push dignitories off the stage to get some camera action with the trophy. Get real and stop venting out your frustation on this article which in any case reflects the true scenario.

No compromise

Once Harbhajan is cleared of charges on him, we should lodge a complaint against Ponting, Hayden, symonds, and clarke, for making unsubstantiated charges against Harbhajan. We should see to it that these people are banned. If falsely claiming a wicket is wrong, then so are accusing a player of racial abuse with no evidence.

Secondly the result of the second match should not be considered for the series, this series should be declared still open although we have been robbed of a victory, we should agree for a draw and Gavaskar/ Border Trophy should be open.

Thirdly we should sue the players for making false charges against our player.

I think give et all we have in the next two matches will be an apt reply...

But yes, before that we need to make sure that the racist tag has been lifted.

Yeah but making false charges also brings the accused player to disrepute, and also disturbs him, no player should do so falsely and maliciously. They should be sued. Also we are playing for the trophy. Ten mistakes in a match and many others consistently against India are an indicative of bias against us. This bias cost us the match, thus making the result unfair. SO this match should not count for result, and should be declared a draw, let the series be decided only on best of three matches
