Its all over for India.Right from the word go, they were up against a stiff Australian side but when they took the field, they had other opponents to face as well.On Day 1, Australia were 50 odd for 2 when Ponting was given not out by Mark Benson.Indians overcame that and had the Ausies reeling at 134 for 6. Later, Symonds was adjudged not out by Steve Bucknor, again a clear edge which only Bucknor was unaware of. Later the third umpire joined the party, a stumping appeal was turned down against Symonds with his foot on the line. He went onto score his career best score and with another decision going in favour of him, a stumping appeal not even referred to the third umpire by Bucknor. Then comes the Indian innings, Jaffer was bowled off a no ball but it went unnoticed. In Aussie second innings, Hussey was caught behind but given not out. He was out lbw but given not out.In the final innings. Rahul Dravid was given out caught behind when the ball was nowhere close to the bat,Ganguly was given out despite Clarke having grassed the catch twice and Dhoni and RP Singh were at the wrong end of marginal decisions. It might seem like a case of sour grapes but had so many decisons not gone against them then perhaps India would have ended up with a 200 run first innings lead. Decisions go wrong as to err is human but the consistency, obviousness and timing of the decisions was so much against India, that they cannot stop themselves from feeling unlucky. Continued .....Australia retain the Border-Gavaskar Trophy as they cannot lose this series anymore and they had won the last edition. All India can do is take this match as an inspiration for them to come back hard at Australia in the forthcoming games
We must salute this man Kumble for the way he fought through and conducted himself despite all the blunders. We all knew he was a fighter (who can forget the scene when he came on to bowl in WI with a broken jaw) but today he proved once again that he is a champion. He was the only batsmen in the lower order who did not feel like getting out.
Well we all know in this innings well set batsmans Dravid n Ganguly was given out wrongly.
What all the other batsman did, they didnt apply themself and secure a draw, super aussies snatched the victory from the draw isnt it? to be fair n honest.

there is no super auusie. Please dont blame indian batsman here. its easy to say what other india batsman did. but when 2 batsman r well set n they r given out by bad umpiring any team will succumb. n also dont forget there were many decisions that went against india while feilding

if they were the only two ones, you would have something to argue about. And in either case, it was no brainer: in Dravid's case, no chance of edge and in Ganguly's case, refer to 3rd umpire (of course, he'd have got it wrong too). And in Ganguly's case, the umpire trusted Ricky Ponting, who had earlier grassed the catch (very clearly) and went to claim it. Don't even need to talk about earlier ones.

Aussies snatch victory?? Ponting told the umpire the catch of Ganguly was taken cleanly when the third umpire should have been consulted! They are the worst team in terms of sportsmanship!!The match result was given unfairly in favour of Aus-it was India who was the better team and they should have won!!It's good that the BCCI is backing the team and submitting a complaint to ICC abt the umpiring!!!Bucknor should be sitting at home now-not in the middle of a pitch !!!

You will be pleased to note that Ponting has been appointed as third umpire!!!!!! Its a pity they had 13 players on their side...
Seeing todays match no team would like to play against australia. the way the appeal for( dhoni\'s catch, dravid\'s lbw, and the most shameful decession-- Ganguly\'s) I mean whats the umpire r doing? who gave them the right to consult the players? well mr. bension should have asked the square leg umpire or the4 3rd umpire about the decession. this shows that the australians are not fit to be called as the world champions of cricket. really they have killed the real spirit of the game. It should be called as a CHEATER\'S GAME and not a true GENTLEMAN\'S game. Well done India..... I support u .. u kept our hopes till the last moment. best of luck for the perth match..... Whats the BCCI doing...?
BCCI just don't do anything for deterence. Steve Bucknor should have been complained against last sereis when he gave appalling decisions against India in Syndney in 2003. BCCI did nothing. Ganguly complained but BCCI did not care. Why? Because in grand sceme of things, having West Indies Board on BCCI's side was more important. This will go the same way. The richest board in the world does nothing for it's team and country all they care is politics. Losers.

When we will have politicians governing BCCI, how can we think of its good management. These fat politicians just know how to speak and do nothing in practical.
THe question here is that why such an incidenet never happens with Australia. Do they treaten the Umpires or hold some key positions in selecting The Umpires.
Having said all this, one thing is there that our great batsman are lucky great only. When there is time to prove, they fail. Tendu, Laxman were out. Dravid catc was dropped, ganguly was dropped, yuvi do not know ehr the bowl is going( seems he think that by hiting few sixes , he is the world greateset batsman-i feel just bcoz of him India has lost both the test bcoz he just cud not do and make his out look awkward also. So kumble instead of sticking with big names should call Irfan, parthiv,VRV and kartik in place of bhajji, yuvraj, dhoni, and jaffer for test at gabba( we can play just one spinner there as its is a bouncy track)
india should have refused to continue the game after ganguly was given wrongly out. they should have asked for third umpires decision. all the three umpires are for a huge benefit from aussies for playing the best game raising their fingers..

may be we should hate BCCI...they always busy with internal politics and interested in counting money than defnding our players. Its impossible to play and win with so many umpiring mistakes against a INDIA. This is the time for BCCI to show that they have some b.a.l.l.s
