2nd test should not be treated an official test match
by Crazy scorpio on Jan 06, 2008 02:19 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Guys,
In light of the pathetic one sided umpiring, the recently concluded test should not be considered an official first class test match. Pls reply to this thread if you agree.
BTW, did you guys observe something. Channel 9 team immediately started making a case on how difficult it is to accurately adjudge "no-balls" immediately after it came to light that Jaffer was given out on a no ball.
True to their character....cheap cheater Aussies

Six months from now, everybody will forget about the "umpiring errors". Steve Bucknor will retire and stick to Jamaican beaches, the other dude will pocket his kickbacks, as Australia shamelessly will register this as their "16th win".

I completely agree with you Friend. ICC should come forward and declare this test as an un-official one. Not one not two.....This is 7 much...a teams entire top order....

1) Ricky Ponting Given not out
2) Symonds Once for a catch behind.
3) Symonds again for Stumping chance.
4) Symonds again For a Stumping which Buckner did not refer to Third umpire
5) Mike hussey given not out at 45 when he nicked RP Singh.
6) Rahul dravid given out when it is crear that his bat is 10 km away from the ball
7)Ganguly given out when clarke grassed the ball..

Mr. Bucknor should immediately retire from, because he will not be banned by ICC. At least, ICC can ensure that he is not appointed to officiate in the matches, where Indian is playing. We have had enough of him.

RADICAL MEASURES
by Kunal Mukherjee on Jan 06, 2008 02:18 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

People may consider this escapism but I feel that India should send its team back and replace them by the India "A" team or "B" team. This would be in protest of the umpiring and - more importantly - in protest against the Australian lack of professional honesty.
On one hand Ponting stays put after nicking and on the other he tells the umpire that Clarke has caught Sourav cleanly ! On one hand Symonds admits to the press that he was out early and on the other hand he stays put!
What hypocrites !
I did not think that the Aussies needed such measures to win.

I got a better idea.. Call the whole team back. After all its the ACB that looses.. and the umpires dont get paid.. Anyways Indians arent gaining anything with this series, xcept being punched left , right and Centre and please get all the distractions out of the stadium. Hope my indication is clear enuf..

let bcci continue the tour but none of us will watch these matches take a pledge take a promise and stand by nation.....if something this would happened with aus they would have done the same....no doubt they are a tough side and we played our heart out to beat them but what is the result. Symomds who got out on 30 went to make on 162 ponting out on 17 went on to make 50 plus and all decisions against us. Why the hell Mr Benson ask ponting if the feilder catch it or not he should ask the third umpire it clearly shows that umpiring is inclined and biased towards aus...But i want to thank our boys arey sab log jaan lada diye you did very well. Pls fight wid same spirit if our idiot officials dont boycott the tour...Jaan lada dena Inda is at stake

Counter attack on Bajji
by ak on Jan 06, 2008 02:17 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

One more case against SYMONDS and Ponting..

Because before start of Australia second ing..

They reported to match referee against Bajji regarding RACISM..Seems to be typical mind gaming against Bajji. Pitch report was 3rd day onwards it is spin pitch..

Ponting onwards world 1 cheater and cheating team captain..

they boast to be pofessionals , but i think Golchrist who had advocated thta the batsmen should walk , has himself not be honest to himself...
These r not signs of gr8 players , but THESE ARE SOME GREEDY BUNCH OF PLAYERS WHO R TRYING TO MAINTAIN THEIR SUPREMACY IN A NEGATIVE MANNER....
I bet if Australia would have been on the reciving side thaen then ICC wud hv intervened on the first instance only....

The SUB CONTINENT tean are being sidelines , this is what I can see out here !!!!!

that was a no ball, and also Ponting having caught (actually grassed the ball) Dhoni apealed and acted like a CHOR, luckily for Dhoni Steve didnt see the deflection off the glove..

But Ponting is the worst sportsman.. WORST.

Stop playing against Australia, not only India but everyone.

Its important to teach them a lesson,

BCCI Please dont call any one of them for IPL, rest if u have some self esteeem upto u.

thanks

india should now take this up very seriously , just like wht Ranatunga did whn Murali was humiliated,,,,,,

racist india
by on Jan 06, 2008 02:16 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

I cannot believe some of the comments on this page. You talk about racism and sportsmanship yet you show none of it. Show some respect for perhaps the greatest cricket team of all time and stop winging about umpiring. Poor decisions are part of the game its how you deal them that shows your character. When playing in India decisions always go against the opposition and racism is rife. Live with it and play decent cricket and you will be rewarded. In saying that India played well and it has been a great test match, just stop blaming others and look to the likes of Kumble who show you how you can play. Keep it up aussies, you play the game at the edge and that%u2019s where it should be played.

As far as true spirit is concerned, forget the walking afetr clearing edging, why did Clarke and company claim a catch , why did Ponting suggest not to ask for 3rd umpire. How can we respect a team whose captain is a cheat? Answer that and Ill be the first to accept Pontings 11 as the greatest.

Greatest team of the century -> Steve Wausghs Aussies. They were mean as hell, but you know what Langer said, if steve asks me to run through a brick wall Id do it. Ponting is hardly a man of that integrity. This team is very weak and very beatable. Id love to see Shoaib Akhtar and Asif destroy them.
