Man of the Match - Mark Benson
by on Jan 06, 2008 03:22 PM  Permalink

Today India lost the match but the man of Match award went to Symonds instead it should have gone Mark Benson because if he would have not been officiating then australians would not be able to remove dravid the wall and saurav even if they were given another day.Ricky Ponting (big looser) knew this and hired two more players Steve Bucknor and Mark Benson to help his team win.
I would now term Australia the number one loosers of the world even the Kenya team is far better from them atleast they play with 11 players and not 13 like Australia.

Very painfull loss for India
by garimella rao on Jan 06, 2008 03:21 PM  Permalink

I watched the last 1 hour of the match and to lose the match in the way it happened was very painful. I recollected all the events from Day 1 and could not help feel India was hard done by the Umpires. I think Steve Bucknor should take moral responsibility for his degenerating umpiring skills and resign to his job as umpire. Umpires play a crucial role in cricket and their decisions make or marr careers for many cricketers. I would not consider this test win a fair one. India played very well and they do not deserve this result.

Great Words
by Rakesh Narayan on Jan 06, 2008 03:21 PM  Permalink

Kumble said "Only one team was playing in the spirit of the game" . Suppossedly these were the same words said by the Aussie Captain during the Bodyline series as pointed by the article. Man that was awesome. Kumbles words will touch every Aussie cricket fan worth his salt.

Lost match
by Sameer Khan on Jan 06, 2008 03:21 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Well, the fact of the matter is, that India is defeated, not by the Australians but by the combo of the Australian team and the umpires.....India would have easily won if the umpires were accurate. Of late this has been a trend among umpires to give unfair decisions against team India. Unless BCCI steps into the matter and protest, This atrocity will continue.

The Truth
by Aussie Ki Taise on Jan 06, 2008 03:20 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

if u see r.p singh lbw shout by miachel clarke its very similar to kumble's lbw shout against symonds on his hat trick ball ...it was given out becoz it was appealed by Aussies.....thats what i call double standards

umpire openly assisted Aussies and started terrorism in cricket...and today they killed the sportsmanship in cricket

And those who don't know, even the previous tour of australia had fair bit of horrendous umpiring. otherwise, we would've won the series.

In Australia, these so called neutral umpires not neutral. jack asses.
