New Rules
by Somya Mishra on Jan 07, 2008 04:00 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

*UMPIRES* should consider a huge bonus if an *AUSTRALIAN* player scores a century. Any wrong decisions can be ignored as they will be paid huge bonus and will receive the backing of the *AUSTRALIAN team and board*.

(5) All *AUSTRALIAN* players are eligible to keep commenting about all players on the field and the *OPPONENT TEAM* should never comment as they will be spoiling the spirit of the *AUSTRALIAN* team. Any comments made in any other language are to be considered as *RAC**ISM* only.

(6) *MATCH REFREE* decisions will be taken purely on the *AUSTRALIAN TEAM* advice only. Player views from the other teams decisions will not be considered for hearing. *MATCH REFREES* are to be given huge bonus if this rule is implemented.

(7) *NO VISITING TEAM* should plan to win in *AUSTRALIA*. This is to ensure that the sportive spirit of *CRICKET* is maintained.

(8) *THE MOST IMPORTANT RULE*: If any bowler gets *RICKY PONTING - %u201CTHE UNDISPUTED CRICKETER WITH INTEGTIRY IN THE GAME OF CRICKET%u201D* more than twice in a series, he will be banned for the *REST OF THE SERIES*. This is to ensure that the best batsman/Captain will be played to break records and create history in the game of *CRICKET*.

These rules will clarify better to all the teams *VISITING AUSTRALIA*.

Hey b'dy already a new rule is being implemeted.

ONE BOUNCE CATCH

Rest of the world does not know the rule, that's why they are not taking one bounce catches

I suggest
1. BCCI should ask for cancellation of the match.
2. All the personal records will stay.
3. BCCI suspends the tour till harbhajan does not receive an apology
4. There shoild sensitive microphones placed around both ends to record the sledging.
5. The umpires should be acceptable to both the teams. ( Real Nuetral)

Australians have showen how they are world champs. Now Bcci have to decide what they want, only money or nation pride. I think BCCI will go for money.

9) Most important rule:
When aussies are batting, if u want them to be caught out, you have to take the catch in one hand only. Catching with two hands is illegal and the aussies will be awarded 50 runs.
When aussies are fieling, u would be given caught out if any aussie fielder catches the same on one bounce.

After watching the test match, i have decided some rules have to be incorporated by ICC to give the other teams a perfect clarification

(1) *Ricky Ponting %u2013 (THE TRULY GENUINE CRICKETER OF THE CRICKET ERA AND WHOSE INTEGRITY SHOULD NOT BE DOUBTED*) should be considered as the *FOURTH UMPIRE*. As per the new rules, *FOURTH UMPIRE* decision is final and will over ride any decisions taken by any other umpires. *ON-FIELD* umpires can seek the assistance of *RICKY PONTING* even if he is not on the field. This rule is to be made, so that every team should understand the importance of the *FOURTH UMPIRE*.

(2) While *AUSTRALIAN TEAM* is bowling, If the ball flies anywhere close to the *AUSTRALIAN FIELDER(WITHIN 5 metre distance)*, the batsman is to be considered *OUT* irrelevant of whether the catch was taken cleanly or grassed. Any decision for further clarification should be seeked from the *FOURTH UMPIRE*. This is made to ensure that the cricket is played with *SPORTIVE SPIRIT* by all the teams.

(3) While *BATTING*, *AUSTRALIAN* players will wait for the *ON-FIELD UMPIRE* decisions only (even if the catch goes to the *FIFTH SLIP* as the ball might not have touched the bat). Each *AUSTRALIAN* batsman has to be out *FOUR TIMES* (minimum) before he can return to the pavilion. In case of *THE CRICKETER WITH INTEGRITY*, this can be higher.

Mr Steve Bucknor was murdered by Ganguly's post test match report earlier while he was the captain...so i think bucknor has paid back to the indians this time....

Anyways, india would be much better without bucknor not officiating in any of india's matches...on the other hand, its a shame that india couldnt last 70 overs.....

why there is lots of hue and cry, this is not the first time of human error, many of times decesions came in our favour then at that moment we have not complained. Lets take this as an true sportmenship. We lost because we played Football instead of Cricket. cricket is a game to played with Bat not with pad.

hey common, it doesnt mean, you dont make your voice heard when injustice is done.

Symonds or ponting could have simply walked off when they knew they had nicked the ball.

if symonds was out on 30.. India wouldnt have needed to play the second innings ..

Dont say , we played football, when there are 13 players ( 11 players and 2 umpires) playing against u.. you cant win.

Boss..try to understand..indians would have lost anyways as some of the key players are busy with their personal stuff ( Yuvaraj dating Deepika after getting out ). With players like these ( who bank of previous success ) and team like India ( who play only once in 2 innings ) I seriously doubt if India could have won if the decisions were given in India's favour. I am sure our great team just found a reason to bank on to save the defeat. I would have been for team India if they have pulled a draw in this match...

You seem to be a traitor and talk absolutely non sense. Every person proud to be Indian is talking of bizzare errors committed by both the umpires (shame to call them international umpires) deliberately with hidden agenda of personal financial gains, you are talking of sportsman ship. Do you know what the sportsman ship is. If not, learn it from Indian team and stop repeating such meaning less views in future.

India Needs To WalkOut in Between A Test
by Vallabha Hampiholi on Jan 07, 2008 08:54 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

I think India should walk out in between the test @ Perth if at all Harbhajan's appeal is not heard. Remeber what Sri Lankans did when Murali was no balled. BCCI should completely support the team no matter what.

Aussies are behaving like pussie$ now.

Answer to this situation
by shyam on Jan 07, 2008 03:25 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Everyone%u2019s had seen what happened in 2nd Test Match. Australians are known cheats, so Best way to react and answer to this situation is, Take off all our star players like Sachin, SG, Rahul, YV, MS, VVS, Anil and Harbhajan for next matches by giving any medical or performance reason and send the new team, This will be perfect legal protest. Without these star players NO ONE WANTS TO WATCH CRICKET in grounds and on Television. Important is ICC won%u2019t be able to take any action here..
THIS WAY BCCI CAN TEACH THESE AUSSIES AND ICC A LESSON!!!!!!! And can save Indian team from more humiliations..

Great Idea. This is a more smarter way of protesting, sent a bihar xi or assam xi(not to demean them, send an inexperience xi) to the park and ask them to get a roll on for 17th win, 18th win.. make a mockery of the test and ODI series.. this is as good as it can get.

btw, do you really think BCCI and our STAR power have the guts to lose the billions they earn from these matches..!!

Only a game? Really? Ponting mocking openly when Harbhajan is hit on his chest by a BretLee bouncer is only a game?

The old fart B(F)ucknor needs to retire to escape from an oncoming ball otherwise with his hearing loss he may be struck by a cricketing shot.

Kat-kudi Raman (again), if you are so cool about only a game, then why are you posting here?
Unfortunately racism charge being upheld is a National issue now, it is not just a game anymore!

If u guys allow Azhar to participate in BCCI functions saying its only a game and have Manoj prabakar coach Delhi cause its just a game and these match fixers ruined the game, then y so violent against Bucknor?Cause he isnt white or one of us?
