I wonder what the stats would be if we pulled up such data about every umpire that officiates. Remember the Indian umpire who dug his nose instead of get his finger up?
Well anyways, all I ask an Indian fan, but more importantly a cricket fan is perspective.
The guy has had a long career, has made some poor decisions, but to claim that we lost each of the games above because one guys was given out is our way of justifying our losses. If in all the games listed above, the only person who could have saved the match was the guy given out, then we deserve to lose the match as a team anyways.
All I'm saying is that the guy is old and has had an illustrious career. Let's give him respect and rise above pettiness. While at the same time, follow official channels to ensure he doesn't umpire a game in which India plays.
There's got to come a time when we don't fool ourself into thinking the one guys given out is the one guy who could have saved us.
Lastly, we must learn to do the right thing, give respect where due and claim the higher moral ground. I think Kumble did it well through out the episode, so why not us fans?

Very good information. I guess varad narayan never played any match in his life. He doesn't know that simple fact that one decision can change the result of the match. Anyway varad narayan, there are many old guys out there but that does not mean they should be given chance to do umpiring. As you suggested, I hope you are working on official channels to ensure he doesn't umpire a game in which India plays.
If BCCI is realy powerful, it should play a deplomatic game to kick australia out from ICC.BCCI should take Asian countries along with keniya, zimbabwe and some other countries to byecott any match against australia.
Australians are famous for breaking batsman's concentration by abusing and then bullying when confronted by the batsman. I agree totally with what Mr. Sunil Gavaskar when he said that when Australians abuse, they want the issue to stay on field and not carried out of the field. But when they are on the receiving end, no dispute stays on the field. They definitely want to carry it out of the field. In reality, this is the stunt to demoralise the indian team. After all cricket is a white man's game. Rules are changed to suit the whites. There is no medicine to remove apertheid from the blood of the whites. The Australian team has proved this. They remind us of the Lagaan match. The difference is here they have won. Also I fail to understand why umpires like Steve Bucknor are tolerated by world cricketing body like ICC? If Daryl Hair could be sacked, why not Steve Bucknor. At sixty plus how does ICC expect their senses to work? Besides he also has a bad sight and ear. With his blurred senses, he has spoiled the careers of many a good cricketers. I understand Sachin's agony. It is high time that ICC does something out of its own senses rather than under pressure from the protesting nations.

India need aggressive bowlers(both in bowling and behaviour)like Sreesanth when we go to play in Australia...Abusive words should be replied in the same way..Not like Gandhigiri...
Last heard, the leaders of All-India monkey association have decided to file a defamation case against Harbajan Singh for causing them necessary pain and suffering by comparing Andrew Symonds with one of their kind.
Monkey thats the word Symonds claimed was said by Bajji, whats wrong in that, the Australian team now looks like a bunch of Monkeys running around trees without any professional attitude nor ethics. The very decisions of all their major players to play in the BCCI sponsored 20-20 tournment itself speaks the volume of their greed, they can be called a bunch of savage beasts not just monkeys. They were rightly thrown out by English people into the land of Australia where they have learnt all the bullying tactics. Shame on the Australian team for this.....

As this age is kalyug, demons and devils are supposed to succeed, which just happened in Sydney. Is is well known that India played better than Australians, but in the enter worse team won! what more can i say?
