Rest for cricketers
by Mohit on Feb 21, 2008 06:33 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

What Flintoff has said is true for every cricketer. Cricketers require rest when they are not on International tour. Our Indian cricketers are tired by the time they play active Test and ODI cricket throughout the calender. Add to this the IPL turnament which will completely take their toll when they travel between places in hot and humid/arid Indian conditions. The matches will be played during night time and players with so much tag on their head shall not be able to skip matches like they do for Ranji and Other doimestic matches. God Save the Indian team.

by biswas boss bs on Feb 21, 2008 06:31 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

We watch cricket not as Bagaloreans ,Chennains Hydrabadies or Mohali people .We want to see as Indian team. It is totally rubbish Idea to play for metros .Only players are benefited rest all would be loosers .I don%u2019t prefer Seeing Dhoni hitting Sixer in Patans /Sree shants ball .IPL is going to die a slow death

not always. flintoff is not always better than our bowlers, and we have ishant now - if he continues that way he'd beat flintoff.

SOUR GRAPES
by Rohit ezhuthachan on Feb 21, 2008 05:20 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

None of the English players are fitting to the slot for this much money and he blames the season as the reason. Can any British player match our Dhoni or Sachin or the new Sreesanth? Great talk. They make rules to fit their career. No body were bothered when they were ruling the world. When they were winning, the rules were alright. When they found it tough to face Muralitharan or Bhajji, the found out 'chucking' Now they have very few countries to boast of.

hi Rohit ezhuthachan,

You can talk about dhoni and sachin to some extent, but please do not support Sreesanth, he is really useless in our team. He can go for action in stead of cricket as he shows more interest in hair styles rather than improving himself.
