Trivedi took 4 wickets. Will he also be in test team? This kind of talk is useless. Pradeep Sangwan of Delhi is also bowling well. So what about him? As for VRV he squandered the chances he was given. Just because bowlers take wickets in Ranji or Duleep does not make them test material. Even Ranadeb Bose took a lot of wickets last year. But that does not make him test class.

Well said. VRV is not test material like many other medium pacers in India who keep taking wickets in domestic season. Ranadeb Bose, JP Yadav, Laxmi Ratan Shukla were all taking wickets at one time or the other but they are not good for international cricket. VRV has been given more chances than many others and he failed to impress. Even Munaf Patel should be dropped, he is pathetic on the field and is never fully fit.

Fast bowlers should be rotated. Other wise if you over use them they go flat like some times Irfan and Munaf do. Keep playing new faster bowlers when you can see that he is having the sting.

Well said, nevertheless, VRV should get one more chance and better in the upcoming South African test team versus Indian A team.
Dravid gave many chances to him before trying Ishant Munaf or Sreesunt, but he failed there and always gave good performance in Domestic. May be Domestic Indian batsmens are below average quality and International players above heheh

priya...maine sirf likha tha....bola kuch nahi...tu naaraz kyon hoti hai....
VRV is a good fast bowler and he should be given a longer run. he can crank up a pace upwards of 140 and if he's persisted with, can be a good partner to Ishant...instead of the erratic masala dosa sresanth...though sree can always be used coz of his unpredictability. just gives india options

Hey,u don't have a name why you are using such abusive words.Don't be regional bias,Sreesanth despite his poor performance in dealing with other players,he is a good and best bowler of India.Australians are really fearing him,the way he bowls superb.Nevertheless,VRV Singh is an upcoming fast bowler. We have to take care him.

I appriciate VRV and think he will get some more chances. But Sreesant is much spirited and always there with aggression. He can make even batsman like Jaisury and Poting hop wit the pace.

no need to become racial. We are indian and so we should look at benefit for the team as a whole. It is nice for VRV to push for his spot in the team, this competition will keep sree on his toes to perform his best otherwise he will lose his spot. In the end this competition is only health for indian cricket.

finding flaw in sreeshant is becoz of your strange biased mindset. Grow if you are really a cricket fan otherwise join some politics
Indian pace bowling department is doing pretty well. We have youngster Ishant Sharma who is doing well, Sreesanth is pretty good too, then we have the experienced Zaheer Khan, RP Singh, Irfan Pathan too! These are our top 5 pacers today. Where is VRV Singh. He can continue playing in Ranji trophy games!

why do you want to demoralise a young pacy bowler. he's got pace, swing and bounce. besides with the indian bowlers injured often...it gives you good options thru quality bowlers. isnt it?

Why would he get demoralised? You mean he is going to open rediff and read these messages?
Besides, VRV did get a few chances in one dayers and was not all that convincing. We have dozens of cricketers who are tigers at the domestic level but fail to make a mark at the international level. I have nothing against VRV, so good if he keeps trying hard!
