very true.indians are talking about topping australia in the test and one-day rankings when we cannot even defeat srilanka or pakistan consistently.we are very good at big mouthing and blind faith without taking into account ground realities
Where are the greatest cricketers??? Sachin, Ganguly, Darvid....called as BIG-3. I do'nt understand many people when they called to some players great cricketrs like about sachin, ganguly dravid and may be others... But when these great players fail continuously like in this series they start crying that others are failed many times... But the question remain that others we do not called as great veterans so this comparison Otherwise stop calling them great or greatest if they fail like a very ordinary one.

Test cricket calls for patience and technique whereas our players are used to easy way of playing with a bang, bang approach with a weak bowling. There is absolute lack application of basic cricket technique.
It's high time we had the new bunch taking over test cricket with more positive attitude.
Does everyone know how kumble gets wickets....?? Batsmen will play him regularly as per the ball, suddenly they think atleast this ball will spin n play so... then they get out lbw or bowled.

fair enough .. as most of kumble's claims are tailanders ... (many bowlers use to hit Sixes of him easily)
lets d board ask sachin, kumble, 2 retaire both r lagging planning and performance for ganguly i wion`t recommend board they will do automatically and plz give coaching 2 umpires

from the way the top 6 batsmen of team india are playing., it seems only sehwag and laxman are capable of something on any pitch and any country and against any country.
BCCI please throw these sachins, dravids, kumbles, gangulys, etc.
bring in fresh legs, because gambhir, sehwag, ishant sharma and harbhajan can deliver for the next 5-7 years.

You guys have no cricketing sense pls don't watch cricket.You are saying to throw those players who have made the prsesence of india at the international level.Two days back you where complaining abt Sehwag and Laxman and since they scored runs they are everything now.You cannot compare Sachin,Saurav or Dravid class with anyone they are gr8 players and will come back strongly don't loose faith in them and they have lot more cricket left have some patience getleman.

Good to see atleast you have come cricketing sense. Nobody is demeaning Dravid, Ganguly and Sachin. Everybody is pissed off at the dull attitude of those so-called legends during the last two matches. There were great performers but not now. Sachin can perform still for some more time. How the hell you support Dravid & Ganguly, who were not even able to read Mendis? How will they contribute in the next series? So far, Sehwag (exceptionally good), Gambhir, Laxman and Sachin knew how to play Mendis. What about others? Do not get confused between past greatness with present.

Guest,u r such an idiot!Every thing has a shelf life and these players are no exception.By ur logic,we need to call back Gavaskar,Kapildev,Bedi,Chandra,Prasanna and even Vijay Hazare.It is because of sentimental fools like u that we are unable to progress much in cricket or any other sport.
