Specially For Prabjyot Sharma
by panduranga paadle on Apr 30, 2008 04:28 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

It's not right to accuse Bhajji for the OZ fiasco. The situation there arose from the tactics of OZ players to get under the skin of the most volatile player in the Indian team. And the obvious target was Bhajji. Of course, this ban is valid coz it's absolutely wrong to slap any1, be it a spectator in cricket. But now backtracking and saying Bhajji was gulty in OZ coz of what happened in IPL is wrong. It's just like we hail Sachin whenever he plays and slay him whenever he fails

Thank you Panduranga for your response. While I concur with your views, I am of the opinion that Sreesanth also equally responsible for this incident to happen. He walked away with out any punishment. Certainly, this LOSS OF MONEY will SERVE expected CAUTION to HARBAJAN.

Yup, i forgot to add that. Sreesanth should have been banned for 2 games atleast. That wud have sent the message across to him, else we'll be saying sum other player banned for slapping Sreesanth. He has got to know where to draw the line. Cheers

I really don't understand why Sreesanth has to be punished for this incident. If he was found guilty for staring at Kaif, symonds etc...then he should be punished then and then. But no in this particular Bhajji's case. Sreesanth is victim here.Infact he has controlled himself very well by not hitting bhajji back.

That is total rubbish!!! Mr. SS, we all know the kind of dramebaaz insaan Sreesanth is and he had it coming. The way he behaves in matches is truly disgusting and if u try and justify it by saying that Aussies do it so we shud also do it is totally bulls*&t!!! Just becoz Aussies jump in the well does not mean we also shud do it!!! Aussies are anwyays used to playing like this, it is nothing new for them, we shud focus on our strengths. sreesanth shud have been banned, he shud learn a lesson also, apart from Bhajji of course.

It is all money honey

Kumble could have excused himself by not participating in the tourney. Because of money, they want to be in the team but do not want to play citing some injury. When Vengsarkar & Company had decided that he is not fit for 50 overs match how he can show is agility in a T20 game. These overspoilt men will expect everything at free of cost. If you give money, tell them how to handle the money. He is also writing the scrap for the sake of money. At his age most of the international sportsperson hang up their boots. But still for MONEY he is SERVING our country AS A VERY HONEST CITIZEN. JAI KARNATAKA.

Kumble too is culprit....
by raj r on Apr 30, 2008 04:21 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Its obvious to blame parents when their children become a burden to society....
Had Kumble or sachin like seniors been warned bhaji instead of protecting him from incidents happened in Australia, he wudnot hav been misbehaved like this. All the indian seniors lied in Symonds and bhaji's row. It was clear that bhaji called symonds "Monkey".

If kumble want them to be trained, its not for keeping their fame or wealth, it shud start from education. Bhaji shud be educated and literate first. It shud not restrict in teaching them only english, rather humanities and characterization. But in case of sreesanth, he is not at all rude, that is his aggressiveness which is the new face of
Indian youth. It shud be appreciated.

Pl, improve u r self and dont connect the issues.Harbajan, as a fan of indian cricker everyone likes him, but he also should keep his temper under control, proove u r talent with ball and bat... not with hands or words.
no one accuse u when u lost to Chennai super stars with narrow margin, u tried hard.. do that..
Spend some time in Gurudwara, keep temper under control..

KUMBLE IS MAD
by Euroflex Transmission on Apr 30, 2008 04:13 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

What ever the good opinion I had about Kumble is vanished with this statement. Had he uttered the statement as soon as the Test Series was over it would have showed his senior sportsman ship. After this incident why he has to utter. They will ask counselling to handle fame and they will demand a tour to Australia/Europe/USA trip. They are being paid money. It is upto them how to handle. It is good that KUMBLE is not demanding EXTERNAL HELP to maintain FAMILY. Hats off to him.

- No cricketer in the world has the same killer instinct as Sidhu.
- Harbhajan is no. 2
