Kumble talks like a proffessor. And in life you cannot have book like solutions. You have to face situations and hit back when someone's hitting you. I can understand his teacher like approach considering the fact that in the South people have not seen any war for centuries now. Life cannot be in Black and White...as long as there is humanity there will be greed, aggression, selfishness, love, compassion and so on and so forth

Why do such incidents get due importance when so many other things are happening today?

by super success on Apr 30, 2008 12:24 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

justice nanavati should consider the comments from umpire amish saheba where he says that sreesanth had provoked harbhajan many times and he was given warning too. so i see harbhajan slapping sreesanth was right. but umpire amish saheba is suspended for 2 match for commenting on this issue. if harbhajan is banned for 11 match than sreesanth should also be ban

I donno much about actual incident but even harbajan told that sreeshanth has not provoked him before he slapped.
Anyways Slapping or man handling any person is not a solution especially if you are a gentleman and have become famous thus idol for atleast a few section of people.
Sreeshanth does sledging and is done by most international cricketers. If atleast one person from india does not return what English / Australians do to us then there is no fun. By words it is always fine to sledge nut not abuse. There has been no case that sreeshath has abused.. He has only sledged.
Banning umpire is appropriate as he is not supposed to talk to media like this and that too when he has not raised the issue to the panel as a written document.

Idiot. Why is there favouritism? South Indians favouring shreesanth, North Indians favouring harbhajan. Can't you see the guilt of Shreesanth here? Why would someone slap anyboby without any provocation? Just think once before making any idiotic comment.

sreesanth has to be punished as well, its unfair to
ban bhajji alone as sresanth provoked him to get into this situation...its impossinle to stand his attitude

absolutely right. although bhajji ban is justified, sreesanth also has to b booked. even referee faroque engineer said, santh is not a saint.

It seems that the BCCI is biased on there decision. Banning just Bhajji, ignoring and punishing umpires who have expressed his stand, not placing any ban on Sreesatnth who is equally rash in behaviour is just not done.
Throw both bhajji n sree out of cricket.

That's why the Rajputs and Sikhs will gang up against Mallus.

In Mumbai, Maharashtrians will gang up against UP/Biharis.

In Bangalore, Kannidigas will fight against Tamils.

We are in for a civil war.....

Yes you are right and wrong, but the fact is all sardars except Gursharan Singh who played one or two test matches are controversial. Navjot Singh Sidhu / Balwinder Singh Sandhu / Harbajan Singh / Bishan Singh Bedi etc are standing examples of being controversial and will continue to be.

Harbhajan vs Manmohan

Provoking Harbhajan to slap somebody is child's play. But I am waiting for that day when someone can provoke Manmohan Singh into slapping Sonia right in the parliament!

Manmohan Singh

Some ppl r repatedly reminding me that our PM is also a sikh. But what is the use of such a sikh PM who could not even punish the killers of 1984 anti-sikh riots. Infact he was protecting one of the killers Tytler by giving him place in his Cabinet. So please stop giving the example of Manmohan to me.
