hi..good morning all
by Khiladi on May 01, 2008 09:48 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Dravid was ok yesterday. But the great Kallis 50 made the difference. He was very slow till end. Even Boucher started hitting only in the last over?? If he started hitting from the 19th over, they could easily won the match. What they want to proove??
Everybody know Kallis is a class batsman. But in 20-20, you have to lift your bat and sholder to hit every ball as hard as possible. Atleast till Dravid was there, their run rate was ok.

You seem to be the odd man out in this forum of Dravid bashers.
Those idiots come and spit venom without bothering to watch the match or even having the courtesy of referring to the scoreboard.. :-)

Hmmmmm.... . . In the land of the fantastic Dhoni, an innings of 30 ball 38 needs to be called as Turtle..

Great. Obviously Praveen Kumar played much better according to you, isn't it? a 5 ball 6. :-)

Then you explain me my dear Fuhrer, what have snails and turtles got to do with an innings of 38 from 30?
Perhaps you think more clearly than I can, so your guidance will be extremely valuable to an idiot like me.

Yes. Obviously you are right, and Dravid demonstrated a snail turtle syndrome through his slow batting.

You would very much prefer a Kallis rocket speed of 54 off 44..
My bad... apologies to you. Go on hating Dravid. Bye mate.

Dravid kind of thought that he should go for it in 17th or 18th over but unfortunately he was out..
I must say he missed Misbah badly in last match

Today's predictions
by The Fuhrer on May 01, 2008 09:39 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Kings XI Vs Deccan Chargers

Having seen the last match against Mumbai and with absence of Lee in Kings XI, one can easily say DC will win...

KKR vs Rojasthan Royals

KKr have been suffering with poor form of their captian and lack of confidence where as Royals are riding on their confidence..so Rajastan have more chances of winning 2day..

Reason of defeat
by manikantan k on May 01, 2008 09:32 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

the one and only reason for Bangalore's defeat is that the dumbheads at bangalore team are keeping the BEST T20 batsmen of our times i.e Misbah-Ul-Haq on the bench and fielding test match players in Kallis, Dravid and Jaffer in the team....
This Bangalore team will continue to lose till they don't rectify this error.

How do you know they are not following a plan?

Have you heard about peaking too early? IPL is not over yet by any means.

By your own admission, we are yet to see the best of Bangalore (Misbah etc.). Still they are losing by just a shade 10 runs etc.

So hold on to your horses. There's a lot of cricket still left.

but dont u think 4 looses it far too much, it leaves them immpossible task of winning 8 out of remainign 9 matches. Its not too early anymore. Its getting too late

Let's see. They might still lose in the end. But the situation is nowhere as pathetic as is being made out on this forum.
That's all I have to say.

Welcome.

The solution of Dravid geeting out on first ball is a good remedy for BRC

Correct. Then Kallis could have continued his strike rate of 122 which obviously is way better than Dravid's 127.
Keep it up you guys. You are fantastically funny.

Delhi s the team to watch
by krishnan umesh on May 01, 2008 09:17 AM  Permalink

Delhi s got excellent blowing line up.

In batting either, Sehwag/ gambhir clicks game is their's.

Still bangalore had fought well. The blunder which bangalore had done is they had not picked any good young Indian batsman (like Uthappa, raina, Dhawan etc) and wasted money on Kumble he s just a waste of money in this format.

One more good batsman in RC would have made the diff.

victims of dravid captaincy

royal challengers are a bunch of talents but at the same time victims of test icons like dravid. what was the necessity of joshi an old warrior? seems like no match between the name 'royal challengers' and the team.

by Badri N Raizada on May 01, 2008 08:46 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

It is obvious that T20 is a game for the young, atheletic, dyanamic, hardhitting and mentally robust players.Old may be gold but have no place here.Strange that Misbah-Ul-Haq the most prolific T20 Batsmen was kept in reserve. Perhaps that was the biggest blunder for which RC had to pay heavily with 2 losses in a row which they could and should have won.
