Lot of Cricket's greatest players and umpires agree unanimously that 20-20 cricket is bad cricket.
When ever some one hits ball over the ground, It is just bad cricket. Period. Good players always hit the ball in the ground in such a way that ball goes to the boundary without rising much from the ground. Great players like David Gower, Frank Worrel comes to my mind when I say that.
Traditionalist like me are the true lover of the cricket. We don't cheer for the teams like these stupid 20x20 spectators. We just clap few times in a test match to show our appreciation for the stroke. We appreciate the nuances of test cricket. Cricket ground is not place to have fun or Cacophony. It should be like a Church.
Also it is a shame that lot of Women and Children are watching 20x20 matches. Cricket is not meant for stupid young people and women. To appreciate the true art of cricket you should be at least 45 years old man. Then only you would really know what a Test match really is. Test match is the real master piece.
Test Match is like classical music. Where as 20x20 is like disco. Test match is like Shakespeare's play. Where as 20x20 is like Steven Spielberg movie.
Lets not allow our children to get spoiled by 20x20. Lets ban 20x20 outright.
We traditionalist control opinions of cricket boards and other decision makers. We should tell the decision makers not to allow 20x20 spread any more.
In bottom line viewing public is stupid. They really don't know what is good for them.

Harsh words but yes, its like selling naked cricket and the skills of the game for huge sum of money.
Its selling of the game fpr merchandizing. But then that's the way we agreed to grow as a nation. We opened up ourselves to the world. You can not be chooser always.

Thats so true , check out the website royalchallengers . com to understand what I mean .... it is an IPL website, but if you read the comments you will realise that genuine cricket lovers still favour test cricket while house wives & pre-teenage school girls prefer T20 ..... LOL .... do check the readers comments on royalchallengers . com website

Dravid seems a khad dimagi. Will not listen to sensible advice.
He believes Indians can be taken for a ride. Did not sunil manohar gavaskar taken them for a ride 10 years - self servings innings, losses for India, poor performance including 36 runs n.o playing ~180 balls in one day international. (India of course last the match by some 200 runs.)
