True Match Fixing
by jackson on Apr 30, 2008 03:18 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

This match is a clear evidence of MATCH FIXING. This time between Ambani & SRK. They know very well that if Mumbai is out in preliminary, Ambani & sponsors will not show interest in other matches as most of them are head quartered in Mumbai. How such a high profile team like SRK can loose so badly losing 2 wickets in 1st over and giving 3 wkts to outdated Jaysurya. Anyone can believe this. IPL is run by criminals in front of gullible publics. IPL is India's shame in sport. On the other side when China is going great guns in organizing OLYMPIC, see how corrupt our sports organization and players.

Idiots
cockroaches

I loved cricket once. But not any more, because it destroys time, energy and money of the Indians and other sports.

Cricket in subcontinent has been converted into gambling and fixing. Now IPL has become biggest platform for match fixing and betting with direct involvement of business tycoon led by Lalit Modi.

Check the list of players each team has [Players of Indian Origin] May onwards stadiums will be empty as 95% of the players of foreign origin will be gone....

IPL T20 will be another local Ranji Match...only exception will be few indian players making it big....

And YES once all the bahar ka kheladi are OUT of the game....Our GOD Sachin will make a grand entry and will smack bowlers all over the stadium...

End Result....
Highest Scorer - Sachin
Maximum 4's - Sachin
Maximum 6's - Sachin

KKR will be bottom of the league
by Gorango Thakurta on Apr 30, 2008 02:55 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

I was surprised that Calcutta KKR managed to win 2 games. It probably helped some actors get a bunch of publicity. But really, what is the KKR team? They do not have a single match winner besides McCullum, and maybe D Hussey. But after they leave, there is nobody to steady the ship.

It is the same story for Bangalore RC, Hydrabad DC and Bombay Indians. Of these elder driven teams, Bombay has the best chance since Pollock will be always there and Sachin can win a game if he gets going.

On the othert hand the 3 Junior led teams plus Warne's outfit have captains that are true match winners (not only on paper). Sehwag, UV, Dohni and Warne have already won games for their teams single-handedly!

I will bet on these (Delhi, Mohali, Madras and Jaipur) to make it. I have no regional preference - and the composition of IPL is supposed to be region-neutral. It will be fun to watch one of these teams play another in the finals.

KDR - Kolkata Donkey Riders
by Kachwala on Apr 30, 2008 01:52 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

What happened to SRK mania? Evaporated much sooner than thought. Now after loosing Ponting, Gayle, Hussey just think what will happen! Gangu will prove again he is indeed a big liability. Good Luck SRK! You have been made donkey and there are riders on you.

Why were Saurav Ganguly and Co. Playing Golf in Kolkatta
by SachinTheGreat on Apr 30, 2008 12:50 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Why were they playing Golf in Kolkatta, When they know that they have an Important Match against the Mumbai Indians, this itself proves that Kolkatta Knight Rider's were not interested in this Match, They even attended some Dance Pary where some Actreese and Models were Dancing.

SRK is this Ur Mantra of Korbo, Lorbo, Jeetbo.

one reason why ipl is good for cricket
by dudeman on Apr 30, 2008 12:41 AM  Permalink

never mind the debate over whether T20 will spur the enthusiasm for cricket among the public and develop new skills or lead to trivialization of cricket and "spoil" the players by making them play this "cheap" sport.....
atleast one thing is for sure at the end of the series....ie for all purposes the careers of ganguly, dravid, and to a certain extent of laxman's are over as far as ODI cricket is concerned. sooner or later they will phased out of tests too once the yougsters like rohit sharma are groomed.
