Even though they are the best team on paper, their performance has been below par. Hope they drop VVS and take somebody else. He is the reason for their dismal display in IPL!!!

true. Venugopal and VVS batting top in the order before Symonds, Afridi and Rohit Sharma reflects a very bad captaincy. Good that he was not made as an Icon. He is better off being a non playing captain.

Pande Bharani... VVS refused icon status so his team can use that money to bring in better players.
Anyway, he should have taken it, at least he could have made some money.
A pretty straight forward LBW decision was ruled out in favour of Virender Shewag. Else we was out the very first ball and to make the matter worse a catch was dropped too....So if a person gets 2 such chances then he is bound to perform well.
Had such chances been given to Gilchrist or Symonds or Afridi when Deccan were batting the outcome of the match would have been different.
I know not everyone will agree but it doesnt matter as everyone knows Deccan Charges has a better batting line up then Delhi.

Being from Delhi myself , am proud of the massive win of 9 wickets in just 13 overs and 7 overs to spare , of our home team the Dare Devils of Delhi. Good Job done Sehwag ! As the best for your next matches.

chargers will do well if they drop captain laxman, and venugopal rao. Both look out of sorts in this form of cricket.

Hyd still has a very good team. A bunch of good bowlers like RP Singh,Vaas,Afridi,Symonds. Bangar and Ojha are pretty handy as well. Batting is explosive with Gilly,Afridi,Symonds all capable of single handedly destroying the opposition. Fielding is also pretty good but catches need to be taken. But a few changes have to be made. First kick out Venugopal Rao and send Laxman down the order. Send Afridi at the top of the order. If team can jell together as a unit, nothing can stop them.
