Warne also cut short Sri Lankan wicketkeeper-batsman Kumar Sangakkara's explosive but short innings of "20 made from eight balls and studded with six fours". Isn't 6 x 4 = 24?

Banglore Royal Challengers Team Selection is Fantastic.................................
by Mac on Apr 22, 2008 01:15 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

The reasons Ur Giving Questioning the Cricketing Sense of Vijay Mallya is Not Cricket, According to me Banglore Royal Challengers Have the Most Dangerous Teram in IPL, The Team which Can Beat MumBai Indians In Mumbai is Special.

According to Me Banglore Royal Challengers have the Best Team Composition, Just Have a Look at their Team

ShivNarine Chanderpaul, Rahul Dravid, Ross Taylor, Jacques Kallis, Virat Kohli, Mark Boucher, Praveen Kumar, Zaher Khan, Dale Steyn and Cameron White.

It is The Most Dangerous Team in IPL, Although U Can Argur That it looks Like a Teat Team, But if they Get a Look in they can be the Most Dangerous batsman in IPL, Example Shinarine ChanderPaul................

The IPL
by Sameer Bhagwat on Apr 22, 2008 01:03 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

The purpose of the IPL is purely to provide entertainment. You can chose to hate or love the game but one thing's for sure..you cannot ignore this event. I believe we need to look at the positives of the event. Look at the way the stadiums have been repaired at break neck speed. It shows that the work can be done if sought out and directed well. Look at the revenue generated and employment it provides to people (cheerleaders included). The game can get better if the organisers look to pump part of the income to improving facilities for sport as a whole. They can also look at matches for a noble cause (AIDS, cancer, etc..) A part of the ticket fee can be used for this purpose.

Yeah, if every Indian starts thinking like you, then India would soon be a developed country...

But unfortunately thats not the case.. Now tomorrow if you (Sameer) own an IPL team, will you as you say? I doubt... :)

Well...quite simple...I'll have a mission statement for the IPL team. if you think of it, donating money is the easiest of all jobs. Working at the grass root level is the toughest. I know cause I work for social causes at the grass root level.

Dr Vijay Mallya is a great bizman but his cricketing knowledge seems to be very poor!!
by John Miles on Apr 22, 2008 12:56 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

What else explains his decision to invest in Test players like Kallis, Dravid and Boucher?? Also, a slow coach like Jaffer cannot add any value!!
Bangalore team is ateam that is more suited for test cricket or 50 overs ODI...definitely not 20-20..

Someone is surely not thinking smartly here!!

But anyway Bangalore won against Mumbai... Kingfisher flows in their dressing room, then even a test player becomes 20-20 one.

Give Importance to Brendon Macullum and Not SRK.????????????????
by Mac on Apr 22, 2008 12:56 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

When Kolkatta Knight Rider's Won Against Banglore Royal Challenger's Some Jerks Were Praising that Kolkatta Won the Match Bcoz of SRK, That He is the Queen OOps King and Showing their Chamchagiri. It was Okm Upto That, If Some One Said that Give Importance to Brendon Macullum, The These Chamchas(Paid PimpKins) Were Abusing these People that SRK is Queen Oops King and That he is Great and How dare U Abuse Him Using Vulgart and Expletive Language.

My Point is If U Chamchas(Paid PimpKins) Can Praise SRK for No Meaning With out Giving Importance to Brendoon Macullum Innings, And Abuse those Who Say Abything Against SRK, Then People Like Me Will Use Such Vulgar And Expletive Language Against U and Ur SRK that U will See Night Mares in Ur Dreams And U will Fear 10 Times to Utter the Words of SRK Again.

Again I Say In Cricket Forum Praisde Cricketers And Not nautanki baaz People Like SRK, If U Praise SRK Again in Cricket Forum , U Will have 10 Abusive Vulgar Abuses Ur Throat.

If U Wanna Praise SRK Get Out of Cricket Forum and Take His Name and Do What Ever u Want in Entertainment or Movies Forum.????????????

See Boss,
I don't want to keep on arguing with you...neither am i interested in facing a verbal volley from you for no reason at all!! Cos you neways do not get your point across..

My point is this : It needs a lot of smartness and cricketing acumen to invest in "WINNING" players...if you know what i mean..

SRK has invested in winning players like David Hussey, Brendon McCullum, Agarkar, Karthick, Ganguly etc......and this smartness is not a commodity..

Look at the dumb choices Vijay Mallya has made : Kallis, Jaffer, Dravid......

So, give credit where it is due....he is putting his hard earned money and he is carefully looking at Return from that investment, so isn't he smart??

To say that he is a na^utanki is trivializing the whole issue!! hope you get my point!!
