In my company i dont have access to cricinfo.com because the system administrators have blocked all the websites that distract the employees while at work. The only accesible site is rediff.com and this is the only way to know the live socres when ever a cricket match is in progress. Now BCCI has blocked rediff and apprently am left with no website that shows cricket scores. My employer and BCCI are sailing in the same boat.. I am very disappointed...

You have an attitude of terrorist. You can be one in no time, if you continue with same attitude. Your reply above, reflects your intolerence and belligerent attitude towards fellow writer. Man grow up .....
Why dont you file a ligitation against using the term team India by BCCI. Unlike any other sports agency in India, BCCI does not belong to Govt of India where as all other sports do. So why do they call it as Indian Team. why not a BCCI Team or Damlia XI or Lalit Modi XI. But rediff can promote ICL, who knows it may prove much better than IPL in long run.

All the media unitedly support ICL for the great things they are doing by improving the life of atleast some cricketers in this country against supporting 20 players by BCCI. IPL is also still continuing the same. Don't watch IPL unitedly. I think BCCI will learn the things in hard way.

if you remember, once when neo sports had got the rights to telecast and later doordarshan made a complain and the govt interfered and asked Neo to share telecast. If you guys remember
Media went ga-ga over IPL initially, giving more prominence to promotional stunts by SRK, Pretty Zinta et al. instead of giving proper coverage to real cricket going on at the time in the ICL. So now when they got the wrong end of the stick, they cry foul. So media should cover all events without bias. Lalit Modi is only interested in making money.
BCCI is thinking they are larger than world cricket fan. They only bother about their revenue not cricket fan's emotion. Whoever are outside the country then mainly depend on internet. Baring all the website means we will not get on time coverage. If all kinds of media boycott this tournament then they will understand they have a limit. Managaing ICC by money power and showing off power to the viwer is not same thing.
Dont cover IPL dont even mention it in your website.......u have more viewvership thn IPL...people are loosing interes in cricket and if interested are logging to websites like yours.....
BCCI ( IPL ) taking a tough decision on Media coverage was quite expected, since both the Print and Electronic Media have gone down below their dignity to cover & write each and everything what Pawar & his team said.
We have seen the high standard of cricket at the recently concluded ICL 20-20 games. The Media was so partial that they did not bother to give proper coverage to any of these matches. They were busy in covering what SRK, Preity, Akhsay, etc were doing for the launch of their respective.
So, it was quite obvious that when you give so uncalled attention to any organisation, they will show their importance and thats what BCCI / IPL is now doing with media.
WAKE UP MEDIA - DON'T BE PARTIAL AND TRY AND GIVE EQUAL COVERAGE TO ALL EVENTS INCLUDING ICL.
THEN ONLY BCCI WILL UNDERSTAND THAT IF THERE IS NO MEDIA, BCCI WON'T BE ANY WHERE.

it might lead to spread of regionalism...like mumbaikar hooting against north indian .....united we stand divided we fall....
I think rediff should explore legal options and if deemed fit by its Lawyers file a case in supreme court. This move of BCCI seems arbitrary and outragious
I want to put the Indian team photo on my chaddi. Is that allowed? Will I have to buy the "Chaddi Rights" from BCCI? Also what about "Chaddi Distribution Rights" because I also want to distribute a few underwears with Indian team pic to other people?

I am very sorry that my country who used to be spirtual leader of the world cannot think about anything else except money. We are measuring everything in terms of money. All our actions are based on just one motive - profit. BCCI is representative of the materialist India and of everything that is worst in this country.
In order to teach BCCI a lesson, all cricket lovers in India should boycott IPL.
