mohnish parmar the off-spinner stats with 37 wkts from 7 matches with avg. of 14.78 n strike rate of 40.7 is the ignored player. and vengsarkar is the culprit.

Beware Modi - Election is around the corner
by I_have_my_own_opinion on Apr 09, 2008 12:14 AM  Permalink

Modi dude must remember that it is election time. It is just a matter of time before the union govt decides that IPL is of national interest and should be shown in DD for free of cost. i'm sure that sharad pawar will crib. this may sound stupidity..but then the easy way to fight stupidity is to kill it using another stupidity.

Internal affairs
by sanjay kumar on Apr 08, 2008 11:11 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

IPL is a pvt tournament and it should keep secret and treat pvt and internal affairs of BCCI, IPL and their team owners, I think we public should avoid this matches. Its a business and we are not going to get anything, the moment you take interest u start losing your hardearned money.

IPL and media coverage
by pallu banjo on Apr 08, 2008 10:56 PM  Permalink

BCCI want publicity and can get that only from the media highlight. Even the sponsors want publicity and if not covered - especially media hoggers like SRK - will grunt and and complain. Better not cover and drop the IPL like a hot potato and dont give it any importanc3 as given by the media eralier. NO front page but a small corner three line write up. Low key coverage that brings no crowd to the stadium.

Rediff and cricinfo, no need to cover IPL matches. After 1 or 2 matches no one will waste their time to watch IPL matches.

IPL stolen ICL's concept
by Prasad Bhat on Apr 08, 2008 10:09 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

ICL should have patented their concept to prevent IPL from copying. With their arrogance towards media & ICL players, IPL is going to vanish. Let's support ICL & reject IPL !!
