I really don't think Tendulkar alone would have taken this decision. Do remember that BCCI more than anyone else wants IPL to be a hit. Moreover Mukesh Ambani owns Mumbai team. These two big boulders would have laid out this plan. Rest him for 2 matches so that he is fit for IPL or else ...

he has made enough money already, didnt he actually want to buy the mumbai team and was banned by bcci? isnt he also one of india highest tax payer already? so why would he only play for money? he wants 2 leave behind a legacy
