Don't give any Indian player a flattery-- even sachin. YOU SHOULD KNOW HE WAS A " big 00 "zero" in first test.
All Indian players are primadonna except a few good players like Harbhajan, Kubmble & Irfan. Rest all a pile of horse manure.
Indian players are not professionals... just gamblers; Dhoni, Yuvraj, etal. Any way enjoy my greetings of Jai Hind.

IT WILL BE TEST OF CHARACTER
by sonuchouhan on Apr 03, 2008 07:46 PM  Permalink

What ever has happened in 1st Innings is history now. Cricket is a game of uncertainty. The thing to see is how India bat in Second Innings and show their character. If India comes out victories or save this test match, then Kumble has every right to shout for nomination for No.1 Position. By now time, Indian must have realised that doing well in just one series does not make a Champion Team. To be called Champion Team you got to perform consistently well over a long long period.

Hopefully we will see better performance from Indian Batsmen in 2nd Innings.

Poor showing

The unpredictability of the game and the inconsistency in the performance show up time and again. Better luck to the Team India in the second innings!

I would like to hope so. A nation of a billion plus people and a few school drop-out gangster making all that money by hitting the ball with a bat.

dont loose heart
by dharmendra jadoun on Apr 03, 2008 07:41 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Don't loose heart...

It was the pitch and good bowling that does the damage. No batsman was able to adjust to conditions.

But i don't know what make the Kumble to choose Bat First on this wicket?

Any comments?

pitch was not bad but sporting. inspite of knowing this kumble chose to bat n dug his own grave, look at the sa approach in the game.
cant blame the pitch if our bat cant stay even for one and half hour in the morning.

Kumble messed it up!
by anish balakrishnan on Apr 03, 2008 07:37 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Kumble thought that he will recover from his injury till the time South Africa will come to bat. So he first opted to bat first on a pitch where even Boycott's mom would have bowled first! Little did he know that he is in for a big surprise!!

Kumble hates to field. Watched him trying to field a ball that went between his legs during the recent Australian tour. I can not recall a Skipper of any team that fields worse than Kumble
