You guys who are commmenting here.. are all jerks. You watch cricket and follow it like a religion. If they win...u praise the players and type in slogans. If they loose, then you start cursing them.
Watch cricket if u want to have some entertainment. Entertainment is not life for u...its probably life for them...win or loose, they are making their life and having fun...

You make sense, unfortunately for Indians entertainment is life. What else explains non stop beaming of bollywood related stuff or cricket via diff channels to Indian homes? No wonder every loser in life, dreams of becoming a cricketer or a movie star.

I like your comment. I enjoyed watching Steyn bowling though some where in the heart I want to experience the same performance from our Indian bowlers to keep some pride of the nation as cricket is more than an entertainment in India now a days

Sachin is suffering from a deflated ego! A player who had been benched for several matches returned to score a triple century while Sachin scored a big Zero! He decided that a la Sania Mirza it was much better to feign injury in case the advertisers started getting second thoughts and running away.
Political Kumble shd be kicked off immediately with his south bhai and east bhai i.e Dravid,Lakhman,Sreeshant,Gangully...Bring Dhoani as Captain with young player like Ishant,Yuvraj,Kaif

100% Right, Bring young blood to Indian cricket like Ishant,Munaf Patel, Yuvraj,Kaif of course with some 50% senior deserving players, like Sachin,Schwag,Kumble,Harbhajn etc.
What is wrong if cricketers make money? See i find it very ironic. Today each and every parent is focused on getting their kids into cricket as there is not only a lot of money but also reputation. Just coz you were not able to perform and qualify to play for India/IPL/ICL/Ranji/U-19 don't blame the players who have. There is no WE who is paying the money. It is the public/private companies who are paying BCCI. Elevate yourself to a level where you can create a mass appeal and then talk. If you don't like a certain player, boycott all the products he promotes and the company running the ad campaign will get the message and will change their brand ambassador. Till you do that, stop bringing money into sports

Your logic would be fine if we were citizens of a rich nation. Since there is so much disparity between the rich and the poor it is sickening to watch a person who makes crores of rupees a year and is not able to justify his earnings. It makes one feel that the players are over rated. We treat them like movie stars. However even movie stars have to put in extra effort to ensure that their performance is appreciated. The cricketers seem to be immune to any such evaluation. On the other hand they have the temerity to suggest that movie stars run after them!
The Left Parties should gherao the BCCI and raise a question in Parliament as to why new players are not rotated into the national Cricket Team. After all the average Indian hardly earns One Crore Rupees over a life time of work and these players make multiple Crores of Rupees annually and yet are found wanting in the crunch. If a worker at a factory were to perform so badly it is doubtful that he/she would be retained.

The anguish and anger of people after such poor performance is understandable, but it happens sometime.South Africa also got out paltry 101 against the same Indian team last year at Johansburg but after that they won the last two test matches and the series. It was one bad day in the office for Indian team.Otherwise the team which has performed so well recently transfom into bad team in just one day? I urge the cricket lovers to be patient.SA might win this test match but they would not go to home with the series win.Belive me.
Even though Kumble is a good leader, but in my opinion he made a tactical mistake today. In Indian conditions 3 fast bowlers r always a luxury. He should have played Piyush Chawla instead of RP Singh. SA had their plans ready for Kumble & Bhajji. Chawla would have been the surprise factor. Mates i can talking only about bowling, b'coz batting had nothing to comment.

Kanwar, even if piyush chawla added alongwith other bowlers if he defend and bowl against this poor 76 runs...in this case if sachin is not in the team yuvi or kaif is a replacement... not pathan...

I agree, Kumble should have played a batsman, my point was just that if he had to play 5 bowlers, it should be Piyush in place of RP Singh. As for as 76 runs r concerned, it's the approach of batsmen. If they r going to play like this even by adding Kaif, they could have barely got 100. In first place they should have played 6 batters. Player like Laxman & Ganguly who r used to bat around Tea time, were taken by surprise when they have to bat before Lunch (lol).

Correct! I think that he rates himself too highly. He must have felt that his own bowling would be more than sufficient.
