We all know that ICC is impotent in every way. It cannot even successfully select its CEO. Therefore, after the parallel World Series, ZEE should take steps to set up a parallel ICC and have parallel T20 World Cup too ! I only wish that it gets more youngsters from foreign countries to join the respective teams, and then they should all play Inter-country tournaments. This will definitely finish off BCCI's city team format. But better start this first, otherwise BCCI will start this definitely after their first season, as they will also realise that nobody wants to limit themselves to promoting city clubs when they can promote country teams at the same price.

Zee should tie up with people like Stanford in the West Indies to make ICL more international. I also believe there should be more than 1 Indian team in the ICL world series.

That's a great Idea! I wonder why no one else thought of this before. :)
BCCI anyway is not a govt-recognized body. Who gave them the right to pick up the indian team for official international cricket?
It will be a great idea to make it completely open. Whoever has the best team, represents india at the top level.
BCCI should be made to compete with ICL, IGL, IKL and IZL, IXL, XXL... Our economy has taken off after liberalization... imagine what this can do to our Cricket!
BCCI has done a lot of harm to our country's cricket and talent. They monopoly should be broken.

I wish someone in the ICL Management reads all these ideas from us or even perhaps employ us in Business Development for ICL!!!
Infact I posted the idea of having a triseries between ICL Pakistan,ICL India and ICL world much before it was announced

Absolutley .... ICL should stop saying that BCCI is father and they are the 'other kids' ... Stand on your own ICL .. give BCCI a run for their money .
Great news this ! Like Kerry Packer's World Series, this seems to be a good idea, as spectators definitely correlate cricket in terms of nations, unlike football.
