Point is, if there was no money in cricket (as is the case in hockey), Kapil's new-found passion for promoting "real talents" would not have seen daylight. If not Kapil, Subhas Chandra can start a hockey league and promote it on TV. The last thing we need to hear from these greedy insensitive people is they care for talent. They are actually destroying young careers while filling their own pocket.

you are wrong about the whole thing. BCCI has not popularized cricket, it is popular on its own steam and because of increase in penetration of television in India. BCCI is one which is cashing in on the popularity. BCCI has shown no accountability, even its accounts are not fully published properly. They have spent no money on training, grounds, improving standard of cricket and ground level until very recently. The ranji players, and state players were hardly paid anything. So much that past indian national players like chandrashekhar went begging, when they needed some money to carry an operation. Times of India started a charity fund for chandrashekhar's operation. eknath solkar died a pauper - the list is endless. Therefore BCCI did not do anything. Sports in other countries is commercially viable and is a suitable career option for people across the ranks and hence people take up sports. Therefore, there is nothing wrong in making a sport commercially viable, which is what Kapil is doing. What the hell is wrong with that? Dont the players have a right to earn and live a good life? They have a short life and they need to make money in that short period. He is promoting cricket because he is a cricketer and is commercialing exploit it because it is possible. He has been very candid about it and I do not see what is wrong in it. Also, he is not barring them from playing for India, BCCI is and that too illegally. You are wrong about the whole thing.

Let us know when ICL distributes the money to all players and let the public know how the money generated is being distributed. How much Kapil is getting versus a Ranji player he has hired. Nobody is saying BCCI is not accountable, but we will stop exploitation and loot in the name of cricket unless all fund usage is publicly disclosed.

Kapil never wanted to break Indian team. ICL has not sropped any of their players to play for India. It is BCCI which has banned all players playing in ICL. It is a war of money, otherwise why BCCI should object on ICL?

I agree. BCCI has popularized cricket and now Kapil wants to make a killing out of its popularity. He gives a damn to young careers ending due to joining rebel league and continues to lure them for money.When these cricketers mature and think back they sacrificed a chance to represent their nation becoz of Kapil's greed for money, they will hate him. There are already so many domestic leagues in India - as if India was waiting for ICL to happen to produce talented cricketers. And as if playing ICL will produce the next Tendulkar or Dravid. Hell with Kapil. He doesn't have the balls to admit he is doing it for the money and misleading a nation by bullshitting about promoting talent.

what has he done after that? Is WC everything for you? It is like you are happy to take year end performance bonus and just don't care of the monthly salary!!! What ahs Kapil done after WC? He struggled to bowl during end of his career and was in the team just to break the record.

If he had brought the only WC is that not great!! I agree that he struggled at end of his career, But every player struggle at at some point..atleast he broke the record and we could proudly see an Indian hold the record for highest wickets for abt 7 odd years.. Come man..let us not always complain abt things.. If u can complain then atleast hv the guts to recognise the good things!! The whole cricketing world recognised Kapil as one of the 4 best all rounders cricket had ever seen and u being an Indian cant see that!!

Cricket has become a business in India. Who is responsible for this? All cricket supporters. If you support cricket watching it is good for players, sponserors,TVs, business men and gamblers. But it is very bad for the common people. If you watch a cricket match what you will get? Nothing. Instead you are wasting time, you become lazy that affects on your health and progress. Why I am mentioning this is because I have seen many people who spoiled their life watching cricket. If you just look around you yourself may find one or two. Whenever cricket match is telecasted on the TV, Students absent to classes, Many Autos stop, Many formers postpone their work, Many people postpone thier work and cause total productivity loss. But players become stars. I request all of you don't watch cricket, if you like it go to the groud and play cricket. please don't recommend cricket watching.

Cricket s entertainment and everyone should look at it as an entertainment. If someone missess his class or work then it is his personal loss and he or his caretaker should be aware of this, and not common man.
why should ICC only become governing body of cricket ? What they did to Mike Procter for his excessive and biased decision ? What they did to Symonds ?
Why you expect such a biased body only to control world cricket ?
Whats wrong if some other body like International Cricket League (ICL) controls world cricket ?
What you are going to loose if ICC loose its charm and ICL controls world cricket making cricket better and unbiased, also holding its charm as gentleman's game ?

First thing the domestic players in ICL should do is to refrain from speaking about selection in India as no player from other country speak about their selection.In every country there is politics in selection. Secondly If you have read Tony Greig article in rediff you will notice it indirectly says that ICL wanted India to perform badly in their matches.This again shows sick mentality of ICL.Please do note that I'm not a supporter of BCCI nor of ICL, I have just expressed my views.No offence please

why you think its not possible for ICL to run 50 over matches and test matches ? If u really following cricket and have any news about it, then only try to comment or debate in public blogs inspite of killing others time unnecessarily.
ICL has already successfully hosted 50 overs tournament, that also won by Chennai Superstars team. ICL also going to host 4day test matches (like in Ranji). ICL is only 1 year old.
If you have patience just wait and see instead of barking. else just mind your business. Stop bashing ICL.

ICL has either retired 40yr olds or second, third and fourth grade players who know they cannot break into Indian team and grab the chance to make some money. Kapil calls them real talent. Kapil is the biggest bullshitter in India.

BCCI themselves started as a club and today it has gone on to make 1000's of crores and all these shit administrators who donot know abcd or xyz of cricket run the show(who have not even played in club cricket or school cricket)and are making 100's of crores themselves then whats wrong if Kapil Paaji gets paid for his illustrious career and encourages big time cricketers. Kapil Dev is misguiding players. He is an emotional guy and does not think practically. What he should understand is ICL is a different organisaation and how can players in ICL can play for BCCI if they have been banned by the parent body ICC. I fail to understand this. Kapil thinks guys playing in ICL have all the talent than what happens to players like Rohit Sharma, Tewary , Raina, Virat Kohli and Sangwan. Are these guys not talented enough.First of all Kapil himself should come out of ICL cause he himself is a misguided guide.I respect him as a player but not as a administrator.

for example, if a players banned from Pakistan, he can play from any other nation like south africa or bangla or england or any other country if a chance given. ICC is not involved in this BCCI and allies dispute.
