Don't Do This
by cricz dot com on Sep 26, 2007 01:02 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Why is rediff politicizing this? No CM is obliged to provide gifts. Why is rediff demanding gifts for Pathan brothers? Did Karunanidhi provide anything? Why isnt rediff talking about Karuna? Why only Modi?

Dirty politics by rediff trying to create unnecessary issue. Media should be more responsible and maintain high moral standards. Looking at these kind of articles, you lose interest in reading. We already have enough problems in India and future for next generations does not look smooth. Please donot stoop down to low levels for publicity and better viewership.

Article written to inflame passion
by Kunal Savarkar on Sep 26, 2007 01:02 PM  Permalink

This is a very immature article, written to arouse passions in an atmosphere already surcharged with emotion. Narendra Modi does not need to reward or punish anybody because Rediff thinks so, or because other CMs have lavished largesse on players who are paid well enough. It would be better if they took a leaf out of his book, and governed their states better. Gujarat is today one of the highest ranked states on all parameters.

You are 100% right. What these ministers do when India loses ? Also encouragement is required, but not too much. I am proud to say that Indian team has done well. Also Narendra modi is with the poor people as well as a good Administrator. Rediff is simply making small statements as big issues.

Absolutely right. Why only Cricketers get so much attention, rewards, money. This is getting too much. We conviniently have forgotten other sports. Did anybody announce prizes to Indian hockey team for winning Aasian cup or football team for winning Nehru cup.

That's very TRUE. They got fame and name. Money will follow by all stupid people. Money of Government should be used for welfare of needy people and not like those CMs who wants to gain political milage for the coming general Lok Sabha elections.
