Absolutely! I am sure Aussies will trample us. Guess what wud be the excuse - senior players are in the side. Then from 4th match on, BCCI will bring in most of the T20 players, who will loose too. All the mad hysterics will just turn against their current heroes

while I dont want to guess MOdi's mind or intentions, pls note the following facts - TN govt has not announced anything for Karthik, delhi govt has not announced anything for Sehwag and Gambhir, Punjab govt has not announced anything for Yuvraj. Why single out only Modi. Now I am sure Rediff has made it difficult for Modi to announce anything, even if he had such plans, for that would appear as a correction of a mistake

I agree with Sankara 100%. Also, I wonder if this issue was brought up by rediff at all had India beaten any other country BUT Pakistan in the finals...
Plz correct ur fact & figure, Delhi govt has already declare cash rewards for sehwag & gambhir.

Why should any CM offer cash prizes to the cricketers, when they have have been already loaded with huge sums of money from BCCI and the sponsors? Because some state is doing it does not necessarily mean that all CMs shd do. The reporter is biased and wants to create a divide amongst Hindus and Muslims.He shd check his face rather than commenting on a CM of a state. The reporter has not made any observations on the comments that Shoaib Malik gave in the interview post match after the defeat. WHY THIS BIAS?? This was cricket match for which the players are paid their due hence it is good that the Tax Payers money is saved and used for other positive gains.

I dont understand what was in Mr zore's mind while writing one of the most senseless articles in rediff in recent times. What he wants to prove by writing such article? Does he wants to create hindu-muslim divide or has been paid by congress party to write this article. Whatever modi does pseudo secularists have a problem. And anyways pathan brothers will be earning in crores now due to advtisement and other contracts and 5-10 lakhs will mean nothing to them.
Why should state governments announce prize for individuals when they are adequately rewarded by Board? Has any state government announced any reward for Hockey team or Football team when they won tournaments of repute? It is rediculous to see so much bias against an individual by media.This is nothing short of war against an elected state government by a tainted media that survive on doles of this adharmy government at centre.
I have seen many articles where Rediff brings out Communalism, divides north and south, what not. Rediff is this the way you wanted to work, being the most influencial Indian Website, its been pathetic in your approach, what ever may be its INDIA and being an INDIAN is what matters in US ...
