Its not at all about money, its about Modi's fear to send wrong signal to his electroate and his party members that he has gone soft. He is just like a head of a patriachal family who refuses to accept and congratulate a baby girl of his family who has earned herself a fame. Shame on him and his people who blindly follow him/his policies !

shame on you mr. goud. I dont think you pay any taxes. This politician CMs who are going ga ga will not give even a single penny from their pockets to these cricketers. Also the expense of Mr. Pawar & Mr. SRK who went to SA were on the board not their own. Better is Mushraf who stayed in Pak & spoke with his team. This is sheer misutilisation of public funds. Also they going to Airport is in government cars & not their own. Shame on all this CMs. It was better is we all together would have paid tickets & that money was given to the cricketers.
If they really love the Indian team these CMs should give their own money is my perception.
I really like a comment before this which stated that what about our soldiers who are being killed are they in anyway lower than cricketers. Please tell me your feeling on this.

the team has brought joy to the country....a country full of idiota & losers like you....this is a marvellous achievement & they should be rewarded for this.
Modi is not acknowledging the Pathan bro coz they r Muslims....so simple & this is so communal but u find it hard to accept...that u have a dirty communal face.
Who cares a damn for the monetary reward...but did this communal cm even acknowledge this amazing talents from his state & their contribution to this victory ?

the sharad pawar and vilash rao deshmukh have time to give the money to players who have already got much But they are rediculing the plight of vidharbha farmers. they are commiting suicide because they cant even earn 30000 rupees. what the players have contributed to society in large after being so rich

Modi wud never announce money for Irfan and Yusuf because they are muslims and everyone of us know that Modi is against muslims whether they are national heroes or not
The Union Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar does not have any time to visit poor farmers committing suicide in Vidharba. Further the CM Vilasrao Deshmukh and another Minister make fun of the farmers. These guys have sufficient time to attend the homecoming of the victorious Indian Team.
Guys who are clueless about cricket (they wouldnt even have played gully cricket) go and make a cartoon of themselves when the team wins. Remember how Niranjan Shah (secretary or treasurer) went and posed with Dhoni with the trophy. These guys in the process will make money and try to get their minute of fame. This is all with money collected from us (the poor cricket loving fraternity of this country).
And rediff to top it all writes an stupid article. You may blame me for being stupid enough to write so many lines!!!!!!! So be it
Rediff should stop publishing such a bad artical . Why should every CM announce such a amount to player when BCCI is there and they are giving them enough money to them . These boyes are good cricter and not GOD , please dont make them GOD . We want to play few more series also . By giving such a huge money to them , we are trying to put them above from everyone.
