Before you do it, rediff will report and remove your comments. I have done it before and the comment has gone zooom before anybody read it.
It%u2019s not right for any CM to waste taxpayer%u2019s money like that. The players have just done their duty for which they are paid. Yes. They have done it well and they deserve a big round of applause and appreciation. The bottom line is %u2018they have just a won a game%u2019. I do not find it reasonable for governments to bestow such huge money on players.
What amount our soldiers get for sacrificing their lives? What did our scientists get when they successfully launched GSLV-F04? Whether winning a game of cricket is more useful than the above? People in power should think before they act.

I Agree with sanjeev. This is BAD journalism from Rediff.com, Some idiots pay money for those inconsistent monkeys & why should all follow? The same media slams these CMs (when the matches are lost) saying that they wasted tax payers money. I had heard the saying "Yatha Raja tatha praja" its true wrt Democracy too (only the sequence changed "Yatha praja tatha Raja"
I am surprised, why all state govt announicing extra benefits to all champion players> Pls inform whether they are not receiving their payments from BCCI, All players are geting payment, much more than our expectation, infact BCCI also announced Extra benefits approx Rs 1 cr fo all players, Air India announce free travelling with family for next 5 yrs, HP announced free staying in hp for all players. Already all the members are crorepati. Then, why all are pasing benefits. Why only in cricket, Hockey players won the asia cup, which govt given extra benefits to anybody, Even sania mirza not getting such types of reward, no chess champion or golf champion getting these extra benefits. Why all showers on Indian Cricket team only. I am also crazy of cricket, but upto some extent. its all one side by Indian Govt. Now I want to see the One day serious against Australia & pakistan, If india losses, then what media & crazy fans will say. Media has over come this winnig issue. Since last three days only news & photographs & cklips of 20 -20 cup only Seeing this only i am fed up. Ok We won its very very good & we celebrated with freinds alos, but media people just showing this news only & "Sar per chada diya players ko", if they fails in future, i am sure these media people neglect them, what comments will they pass everyone knows, what happened when they lost in 1st round of world cup 2007. In short, Be in limit, don't over react, Enjoy & celebrate the win in regular fashion only.
In such a moment of triumph when whole India & all Indians all over the world are congratulating the Indian Team this guy does not even utter a small congratulatory statement for the Indians. In case of honouring the Pathan bros it is understood because they are Muslims and he will not honour them in fear of loosing his Hinduist votes. So much for secularism. What a shame because of some anti Indian politician these two deserving bros are sidelined from glory.

he issue is not if the CM had given 10 lak to the pathans. a token amount it wd have been good. and gujarat is idnias richest state...the CM has not even congratulated them. shows his views...and/or his party's

You are very right Nikhil. I wonder why the author of this report singled out Mr. Modi only? I think he is also one among the breed of pseudoseculars. These players are already so rich that a common man can't even think of earning in his whole life the kind of money these players make in a month.
