Modiji come above politics

Mr Modi, both Irfan and Yousuf are the proud of Gujrat. Bring up yourself above religious politics. I don't say that award is only in the form of money. Both of them should be praised and hounour from state govt.

Ba ap ka maal samjha hay!
by Ram Gopal verma key Choley on Sep 26, 2007 01:48 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

What does these politicians think.
Ba ap ka maal samjha hay..jo free mey baat rahey hain.
This is hard earned tax payers money.
Most of the cricketers earn millions in advertising revenue and there is no point in giving them freely.
800 million people in India living in poverty and for them even 1 dollar is like God send for their daal roti.

agreed, but any good thing which makes the country proud should be recognized and appreciated. Even those who do well in Asiad games are given awards.
Poverty should be tackled with consistent govt schemes, while sportspersons, artisans, etc should be awarded equally when they bring pride to the nation. Like hockey players should be given equal prize money when they won the Asia Cup. I wonder if Indian Women Cricket Team wins the cup, they'll be awarded the same amount. Well, finally it all comes to playing with the sentiments of the people by the politicians.

Narendra Modi ignores Prasanna Zore
by VikasM on Sep 26, 2007 01:48 PM  Permalink

Was this an article or a personal grudge disguised as an article? Rediff should shapeup or shipout, because I am beginning to recognise that, that there are several shades and grades of lowly masala journalism, and Rediff cannot distinguish between them.
