[NDF is a ISI backed terror organization] Cricket fans attacked by assailants Tuesday September 25 2007 05:10 IST ENS T'PURAM: A group of youths who were celebrating the Indian team's victory in the Twenty 20 cricket final between India and Pakistan were attacked by a group of alleged NDF activists at Paruthukuzhi near Poonthura here on Monday night. According to sources, the cricket fans were celebrating the victory along the road near Naduvathur temple. When the group was nearing the Paruthikuzhi junction, another group of youngsters asked them to stop the celebration and disburse. The heated exchange culminated in attacks with canes and stones. Six youths were injured in the incident. Of this, three persons - Gopu, 24, Sajin, 19 and Pramod, 19, have been admitted to the Medical College Hospital here, while the three others were admitted to a private hospital.
Are we very cheap on our thoughts, we should not go by media frenzy. How many of the promises made by CMs are actually executed, announcements just to catch the public sympathy.
Let us keep our foots on the ground. Today people of Gujarat hold Modi in high esteem because of its development nad one should go and actually go see in belief and not go by media who dishes out cooked up stories to get TRPs.
I see every state Cheif minister is HAPPY to reward their state players by giving money and giving awards...But this Modi not a reward even he have no words to say congrats to gujarati guys....But no Worries Irfan u was the Man of the Match for final of this world cup and histroy rembebr It..This Politicians are not like cricketers...But we Indians are proud of U....All the best for ur future...
The prizes thrown are uncalled for. There are farmers and poors dying daily because of food and Vilasrao is throwing money on his own landscams and now on players. Players' act is worth appreciating but they will get a lot of prizes from BCCI and all others govt need not chip in. Modi is known for tough financial discipline so he must not have done so. Please don't give communal color.

I agree with you.
There are no proper infrastructure in the state, farmer are committing sucide and village doesn't have proper drinking water etc. Utilise the money for state deveopment rather awarding it to indiviuals.
Modi can not give reward to Pathan Brothers becuse of religious politics of BJP. He think Majority of vote in state may be against that he is giving rewards to Muslim brothers
I feel Modi is right in not showering any more money. These players are already very rich with the match fees and the bonus awarded by BCCI. They don't need any more money.
