I am amazed to see the public support for such activities. It is great that the Indian team won the world cup, but this behaviour of the CMs is in line with the Rajas & Maharajas of the old times.
CMs are not Rajas or Maharajahs. Whos money are they spending ?
They can gift their personal money as gift to anyone they like, but this kind of un-checked tax money spending is insane.
Indian players are NOT under-paid. The BCCI will and does compensate them well.
I am not a big fan of Modi and I am not sure what his motivations are but I do not believe that it is right for a CM to shell out TAX money when there are other genuine and more pressing needs within the state.

You are right Mr. Patel but not congratulating the players (which is for free)is ambiguous.
why there is hue and cry? everybody knows who is modi and his intentions. kill pathans and get votes. if he gives money or praise them his vote bank will go for toss. any way he belongs to bjp, vhp et.c. dont worry. pathans will get their praise from everybody. as far as money is concerned i dont thunk they will have a lot.
