Yes venkatesh, We need not to pay money to these cricketers. They get lots of money from their board, advt. contract. Why do we pay extra. Remember those Football team, Hockey team, those are also champions. None of the Govt , including Central Govt announced prize money.. and none of you praised their effort. Now you guys are trying to drag this issues in communal way, shame on you guys. Try to give equal importance to all sports. Do not make politics on it.
I am really surprised how the CM's are wasting their money. They should congratulateand celebrate like us and utilize money for state development and also to help poor peoples. We have millions of Indian brothers who are dying without food and look at the farmers, they are hanging there self. Why there is no rescue for them? Another thing is that our brothers are not raising the issue to equality that if in other game like Hockey and Soccer if we are winning we should also respect them like this....I am happy that we are happy and such time does not come frequently so we are having every right to celebrate and make ourself happy but for all game we should do like this and in other way Government should stop wasting money and they should utilze money to help poor fellow and nation development.

This is a biased report to incite communal divide, has CM's of Delhi and TN declared any reward for its players in Indian team and there's no mention of it even.....and if Pathans are in any way not happy with this treatment they should leave that state immediately.
I would rather say CM's of Delhi and TN are communal, they did not announce any reward because they are only for minority appeasement and they dont see any benefit electorally by rewarding there players.
Why hasnt the article mention the contributions of Gambhir in all matchces and Shewag in the matches he played.....If not pathan....gambhir would have been the man of the match for the final.

Why the hell waste public money in an undue manner, why not spend the same money on starting cricket training academies where the poor children could get trained and become the next stars.
Why not spend money on the Martyrs families who have sacrificed their lives, shed blood for this country.
Our Junta is the most foolish one would encounter anywhere in the world, all that is filled in their heads is cricket and bollywood, as if these folks earn and share their income with the junta.

I don't understand why people are behind modi. Cricketers are making huge money. Also there are lots of people in India who need money in this country. When we lost last world-cup, hardly anybody was supporting crickers.
